I'm still a member of 3 clubs but they have been inactive for years now. I think they were most popular back in Zynga days. I wouldn't waste Yocash to start one. Maybe make an event and start one that way. Good luck, he's a good writer.

Yes, they're from the Zygna days as an added feature to help people form groups in the game. But people forget that they have them since you have to click on your own avatar to use the club link.

Most groups just slap their abbreviated club name on their name tag instead, and call them a "family". It seems to work fine for them since it's easier to identify club members that way. I think the downfall to that though, is that anyone can impostor as a club member. A lot of clubs require approval from the person that started them, so confusion and drama can happen when someone decides to join a club without permission first.

Removing a person from the "Clubs" member list is another step the club owner has to take when they decide to ban a member, because blocking them won't automatically remove them. I hear a lot stories with YoWorld club drama, so having to remove a member can happen no matter what the reason for the club is for.

You can still join and create clubs, although the latter requires a large yocash fee. There is a little benefit other than a group chat. I'm stuck in a group which I'm the only active member as the owner quit, so the group is pretty much dead as they can't be transferred to a new owner. I hope they're rebranded and worked on, I'm guessing they haven't been as it's such a niche future and most clubs on Yoworld don't even use them.
