Hey hey guys, I can't tell you how happy I was to watch the premier and second episode of this new season. And what a beautiful cast..... showmances are going to be a-plenty this season. I can see it!!!

Soooo is anyone watching it too, this season???, if you are let's chat about it here. This is one of my fav TV shows and I will be glued to the screens as the world comes out of this awful lockdown and gets adjusted to a new normal.

Anyhow.....what are your thoughts on the housemates? Any favourites yet?
What about the increase in prize money? - I woulda made it a clean $1,000000 myself but $750,000 is still a life changing amount.

And this whole team playing twist? The Jokers, the Aces, the Kings and the Queens.
Not sure how I'm feeling about that, as I like to see the players scramble from the jump and make cool alliances. Team playing takes away that need to find allies and cushion yourself from attacks. We'll see how this plays out.

First HOH is Frenchie! I was all for him until he did his nominations. Feels like the game and power went to his head. He wont last long as although he may be a smart farmer, he has zero diplomatic skills

Christian's diary room comment at the end of episode 2 had me in stitches: "Frenchie wants to go fishing..... guess what buddy, I'm the great white shark".

Oh and I cant help but be proud of CBS in bringing together such a diverse cast. I am thrilled that they made this conscious decision!



This season is gonna be good! I can feel it.

I liked Frenchie at first and still kinda do but I feel like he made way too many promises and got too cocky wanting to get a meathead out.

SO FAR, I love Britini (the karate chick), Claire and Azah. I like Derek (the bigger one) Hannah, and Sarah Beth. I also like the Asian guy (I don't remember his name!) and after the story of his dad's suicide, I kinda like Brent.

Should be an interesting season! I'm excited.

First of all, I LOVE how diverse this cast is! I just wish we had more diverse age groups.

Just like you, I was a Frenchie fan until he made his nominations. I don't think they showed it on either of the two episodes that have aired, but Frenchie basically promised all the women/POC houseguests safety because he claimed that it bothered him when those groups of people were targeted earlier on in previous seasons. It feels very performative now that he completely backtracked, and nominated a woman and a POC.

As for who my favorites are, I have quite a few! I really like Claire, Tiffany, Hannah, Azah, Sarah Beth, and Kyland! There are a couple others that I think are cool, but they haven't really stood out to me.

I'm not a fan of the team twist. Honestly, I think Big Brother is just as exciting without any sort of twist. There were a few fun twists on previous seasons, but they stress me out more than anything.

I'm hoping that this increase in prize money lights a fire under all of them, and they play that much harder! Makes for some very entertaining TV!

I would say so much more, but don't want to spoil anything for those of you that do not watch the live feeds. I look forward to checking back on this thread! There aren't very many people that I can chit chat with about Big Brother, so I get excited whenever I meet other viewers.

The Asian guy is the other Derek - is that who u mean? Did you notice how scared he looked during the nomination ceremony, I think he thought he was for sure going up. I can't remember what his job is but it seemed weird that he would be sooooooo scared already.

And yes how you going start the game like Oprah: '>you get a car, you get a car and you get a car'.......
there comes a time when all the cars run out which is what happened to Frenchie

And Derek F is hilarious!!!!! I felt sorry for him when he wasn't picked by the other team leaders cos I knew he was a silent assassin and an asset. And it showed with his team winning the first challenge. He is solid!!! And can move for his weight and size.

I'm with you about the team twist - just not feeling it right now but lets see how it pans out. Yep BB straight up social experiment can hold its own, human beings are guaranteed to make it good TV hahaa.

I'm not sure how I feel about the gurls so far, I don't know I'm not getting authentic vibes from any of them except the dress maker I think that's Sarah Beth. I would have her as a fan favourite already. The rest seem like their agenda is too prove a point about being a woman. Why not just be a woman. I don't know maybe I'm reading too much into what they said and how they said it lol.

Oh and I agree with what Vivica said about Brent. Until he spoke about his dad I had done a "Frenchie' and was like nah bro you need to go. But watching him share about his dad and be vulnerable touched my heart.

And I think I'm getting a low key crush on Christian, oo lalala.... i just wanna run my hands thru his curly hair.

Man, oh man, I can't wait to see more episodes! I felt bad for Derek F, too, but I knew he was gonna get picked last because that's how overweight people always get picked. I'm with you and Cereza, though... love, love how diverse the cast is. The more diversity, the better!

I'm just starting to catch up with All Access. I'm watching this season. Whitney is from near me.

I think that Frenchie, having the wind taken out of his sails, is doing the best he can do. However, I wish he would have put up Xavier instead of Kyland.
I was reading through the bios and Frenchie is a member of the NAAPC. So, he's my #1, so far. I want to like Whitney because she's from close to home...but she seems a bit of airhead. I like Frenchie, Kyland and Azah so far.

Frenchie has played too hard, too fast. He promised too many people safety, and then walked back on those promises. It's definitely going to catch up to him at some point. It's very messy gameplay. I don't want to spoil anything either, but I will say that I was happy with the results of the POV competition and what the POV winner decided to do. On another note, I can't wait for this first live eviction tonight!

Mhm that Frenchie HAS played too hard and too fast! Totally. We shall see how that works out for him this week with our new HOH. If he doesn’t get put on the block then he has one of the best social games I have watched since Derrick from BB16 or Nicole F from BB18.

I agree @Jericha... Frenchie should not have put up Kyland.... that decision may come back to bite him. I don't think he could have used Xavier as a pawn though because of the promise he made when they first went in. Frenchie's big mistake imo was to say to the gurls that none of them was being nominated. That's when his HOH began to unravel. He got out a decent threat so it wasn't a wasted HOH, but dude blew up his game and that will have repercussions surely.

Not sure about Alyssa after the POV and Eviction episodes. She comes across as though she 'should be carried by the guys in this competition. The convo with boys in the have not room was cringy. Go out there and campaign gurl instead of waiting on others to save you. IDK I just get snake vibes from her. I wish she had gone home tbh.

Christie has alopecia. She tested positive for COVID and was replaced by Claire before the premiere.

The first live eviction episode was fun because I wasn't stressing over who might leave. I was ok with either nominee going home. On the other hand, the HOH competition had me on the edge of my seat! I was really happy with who won. Frenchie's HOH reign felt like it lasted a lifetime.

Ooooo lalala..... I've just caught up on this weekend's episode.... please lmk y'all have watched it so I can let rip..... what a fantastic episode.... I couldn't stop lol all the way thru it..... I mean the writing was on the wall right. Loveeeeeed it! And this is just the first week we are off to a great start.

I think you should add "spoilers" to the title of this thread because there's so much I want to say.

I haven't watched last night's episode and going get on with that too!!

Thankful for CBS All Access/Paramount+ and Xfinity On Demand! That's the only way I can catch up with BB or RHOBH or RHOC.
