Hi everyone I'm away camping and enjoy life just jumped on quickly on my laptop to ask the question???... What is it about camping that you enjoy or what do you dislike about it . Please feel free to write it all would "LOVE" to read all your commends

I may not get back right away remember I am camping... I'll start these are some of my favorite things about camping ( bonfire, cooking on open fire, sleeping under the beautiful night sky, drinking wine or tequila hehe, the quiet morning walks around the lake, listening to the animals, getting into the hammock and the beauty of the woods )

I'm so jealous! I camp about 6-8 times a year. Every thing you mentioned is on my list as well. For me it's about slowing down and focusing on the smaller things. The scent of cleaner air. The way the wind filters through the trees. The feel of the water from the lake in the air. The sun angles. The cloud patterns. The way wood burns. The char on a fire roasted meat. The way lichens grow on fallen logs. Spiders. It's a 1000 little things and every one is magical to me.

is much fuller in the woods. I have a deeper respect of life just breathing in the air and the scenery is the art of this earth. Just breathing and taking in the beauty there is nothing better for me... Ok everyone I'm out back to the life I love :heart:

The blue eyed dog was named Pup. He named himself. He wouldn't ever come to anything else but Pup or Puppa. We miss him. He's been gone for 4 years. We lost him the same year we lost 2 cats...and everyone went because of old age.

I haven't camped in ages, though a decade ago I had purchased an older Jeep with the intent to do more hiking and camping, the outdoorsy stuff. So, it's on my radar to do again eventually. I'm not like Cheryl Strayed, it's one of the few things that as a woman I refuse to do alone for simple safety reasons.

Favorite part? Listening to everything at night. Also, seeing the stars. I now live outside of town and can see them better than I used to, but it's so much clearer when you're out camping. Also, hiking. I do love walking outdoors. It's weird but I also used to love the smell of kerosene heaters though I know not everyone still uses those.

All you need to do is find a little creek somewhere in the woods and you'll find trees like that. Just a bit of trivia...in that moss grows licorice ferns.

Licorice ferns? Never heard of them. I have a flower garden filled with Anise Hyssop, love the smell!

Oh wow thanks for sharing your pictures just "LOVE" them. Man it would be fun to camp with you guys. I'll try later to post some of the lake and my camp site, it's kind of hard when I'm not home.....

What I like the most about camping is that I on't do it anymore. I never liked it.
