Hey guys! Does anyone wanna talk about any of their hobbies? if so, what ones do you have? what do you enjoy about them? Any recommendations, so others may find something they like?

I'm curious to know if anyone in here does or has ever done glass blowing? It's always fascinated me and the cost is beyond my reach, but I think it would be cool to work with molten glass.

I turned my hobby into a lucrative business where I am able to employ 6 people full-time.

There use to be a place nearby that we could watch glass blowing, it's fascinating! I would love to learn that and also work with stained glass. I've enjoyed designing with mosaics though.

We've got a shop near downtown that does it where we can watch too. The guys and girls in there working with it always seem so cool and busy. I want to talk with them to see if they do classes or something, but I get worried I'll have found something even more addicting than fishing. LOL I already don't have all the time I'd like.

You'd be surprised. I actually only package up my A bud out of all of that. I hire through a temp agency every 4 months for people to come in and hand trim those. Most of what I grow is run through a closed loop extractor for oil based cannabis products. I'm not going to go into the details because there are multiple ways of extracting it...but that's what most of what I grow goes for. Only about 15% of my total crop is sold as top shelf flower.
So, I'm not just a mere "pot farmer". I am a craft (custom) grower.

They've been doing that for years now. I have an extensive collection of color changing glass smoking apparatuses.

I do upcycled dictionary art and bookmarks. Also collect bookmarkers and magnets from all my travels, i have a cute colorful board already. Right now my main hobby is trying to complete my Agatha Christie book collection, just 24 left

Oooh! I love Agatha Christie. I've read every one I can find, just a few I'm still looking for. I think she did like 80 something books...

Scrapbooking is the big one... followed by a bunch of other crafts. Problem is, crafty decor isn't my style at all, so since I have no interest (or ability) to produce regularly enough to sell, I've kind of stopped doing a lot of stuff. Scrapbooking is different because weeks of work are usually in a closed album on a shelf.

I just like playing with scissors and glue and paper and shapes. Helps that I'm a digital designer and can create all of my own cut files.

Also love reading, cooking, baking, swimming, kayaking, deep-sea fishing, (any sport in the water, really). I crochet very well but kinda lost interest. Oh, and I love dorky video games.. (logic and jigsaw) puzzles, shooting bubbles, etc. I play solitaire for hours, about 15-18 different varieties. Currently Spider Solitaire. LOVE board games, but no one will play with me.

And I'm a data hoarder. With the most recent addition, I have 57TB of drives above my main desk. Guess that's why I love Yo... hoarding all the stuff.

Currently trying to learn lettering and drawing from YouTube University, but I may actually be the least talented manual artist on the planet.

I love anything crime and forensic related. So watching forensic shows, reading books about forensics in any form (like forensic psychology etc) and also fictional crime novels.

Traveling and siteseeing. I love seeing different countries and cities. Since covid international travel is a bit tricky, with restrictions frequently changing in other countries as well as in my own country. Luckily Germany has a ton of castles/fortresses and otherwise interesting towns and cities to visit. So I've still had a blast.

Fooood. I'm a major foodie. Food is life and happiness. Some dishes I try cooking myself but with limited skills I also enjoy eating out.
Restaurants, food festivals, or when traveling out of the country booking a so-called food tour. All fun. Last month I tried Libanese food for the very first time. Was pretty good.

Swimming. Water makes me happy in any form. Just sitting by the water calms me down and makes even the worst kind of day better.
Swimming is the only sports I don't consider torture and that's actually fun for me. I love being in water and feeling water on my skin.
