I had a friend who traveled for business to Ukraine right at the time of Russia invading them in 2013. (He said it was obvious who was responsible for those who were in the country, which he was the whole time it went down!) He actually set up a code phrase that he'd say which would mean the person hearing it immediately called the police etc. Anyways, for me my first try would be something like this:

Hello all my lovely friends! I hope
Everyone is having a wonderful day!
Love hearing from you all!
Perhaps we can all meet up at our favorite bar soon?
Miss you!
Especially my baby sister!
This time of year I always remember the Red Chief and how great they are!

The first letters of the first six sentences spell out HELP ME. (I don't have a baby sister. I also don't drink.) The last one references the short story people my age were made to study "The Ransom of Red Chief" about a little boy who gets kidnapped and is so terrible his kidnappers pay his parents to take him back!
