I'm not going to say the C-word yet, but I am going to start making and freezing my cookie doughs.

Does anyone have any great cookie recipes? I'm looking for those cookies that people ask you to bring to every function because everyone loves them so much.

my favorite is melt away snowballs or otherwise known as russian tea/wedding cookies.

My step grandma was an baker by trade for many years in the Ukraine and they are amazing.

I don't know the recipe by heart but I do know it isn't right until the pecans are ground so fine you don't even know nut is in it. And they melt in your mouth the moment it hits.

I'll have to hunt... I had her email me her way years ago.. I made them once and she said I didn't get the nut fine enough but they were good.
