Here's mine -

I was probably 5 or 6, and the sheet was deployed for my costume. We did the work. House to house to house. My candy haul was extensive. When I got home, my treasure went into a plastic container. I carefully counted everything up like a good future auditor, and then went to sleep. The next day, an audit was performed to ensure the sanctity of my haul. Lo and behold, there were errors. Not just in one category, but in many categories. I had been RAIDED.

I presented my case and evidence to my mother, who was the primary keeper of the candy haul. The guilt in her eyes told me I had found my felon. Not only that, but she cracked and ADMITTED before God and everyone that my sainted FATHER was also involved! How could they? This was MY TREASURE. Thieves! Miscreants! Vagabonds! LOL

We still giggle about it today. I was so damn serious when scolding them. I reminded them that THEY told me stealing was WRONG. Hahahahahaha. Busted.......
