yeah i wouldn't mind if they were all allowed to stay for a few hours just to give people a chance to see them. i see some go real quick and i done one for Lisa which was moved in about 2 seconds AND it didn't have 'moved' on it so it vanished completely from here and hardly anyone saw it

2 hours is a long time, some birthday threads are posted and within seconds get moved to where nobody gets to see them. I guess the rules only apply to paying customers.

Now on to my pet peeve..............Birthday threads should be allowed up here for that entire day. It's not "GENERAL DISCUSSIONS". Never has been. The people who play Yo (and work on it) ARE Yo. They should ALL be celebrated on their birthdays no matter what anyone else thinks. Every single one of them is important enough to warrant the attention of the YOWORLD DISCUSSIONS section of the forums for an entire day......and not just because they are a Viking.

well when i posted Lisa's one last year i was a gold supporter and the Birthday thread was moved in seconds. and because it didn't sit here with 'moved' on it no-one saw it. they should be consistent at least and all allowed to stay for the same amount of time before being moved and they should all stay and have 'moved' on them

...but as someone who had a fun thread moved for no real reason I have to say that there is an air of, "Rules for thee, not for me" pervasively running through this forum and I ask myself why do they even bother doing it. I understood why they did it back when the forums had a lot of traffic, but these days threads created seem to last forever on the front page. Maybe it's time to consolidate some forums so as not to waste peoples times. I can tell you that I won't ever bother creating a thread that won't be seen in other forum or that will be moved to those forums.

... i have dipped in n out of the forum and have been away for days up to a week. i noticed how dead it was around here because threads hadn't even moved to page two. even locked or moved ones were still around on page one for days
