Actually just one more thing and then I'll stop with my thoughts....

I really hope you actually modernise the game like you were going to with Unity.

YoWorld, no matter how much we all love it, is very much still a 2008/9 game. The map, particularly, needs an upgrade. I hope you'll give us one.

Thank you for the update.

Does this mean that any changes that may have been seen by any player testers or the images of the possible avatars posted by a Viking in the forums will not be implemented? Everything will look/function as it does now? The map and avatars won't change? I was hoping some things would change a bit. That said, I don't want the way decorating works to change. We can do things in yo that no other decorating type game has, and that's why I don't play those games.

If there is further player testing, I look forward to hopefully being chosen.

The update sounds very promising. In the process of transferring our "assets" to the new format, will there possibly be an option now to sell or trade rooms, homes, avenues, etc.? Fingers Crossed :)

So, first it was definitely going to be an HTML5 transfer and then it was definitely going to be a Unity transfer and now it's for sure going to be an HTML5 transfer (again) and despite the fact that BVG builds HTML5 games - the transfer is being outsourced?

Say what now? :dizzy: :dizzy: :dizzy:

Will rooms we decorate between now and the transfer be saved as is, or will our decorating progress not be saved close to time of transfer? When Zynga was closing, they stopped saving our progress, so rooms I had decorated between the announcement of closure and when BVG took over were not saved, and the rooms reverted to whatever state they were in previously

That is a huge relief. Thank you. So, if I get what you're saying, Unity would have rendered our avatars differently and players didn't want that, so back to HTML5. Well, that's actually good because with HTML5, you'll be in good shape going forward since you are already following the latest html standard.

My only concern is that you'll have time to reach your goal since the back and forth must have lost you guys some time. In any case, great news. I'm completely relaxed now and may even go buy a yocash deal to celebrate...

 ... i am really hoping all the items transfer and that anything broken can be fixed so they can transfer too and actually work! i took part in all the playtests and i wasn't pleased with any of it... i was preparing to leave the game if it changed that much. i like things being improved but not changed too much. i like how the inventory was improved via the box on the bottom bar. it would be nice for improvements to things like the AH and our buddies list. people have been making great suggestions for ages now. i know some people liked the new map and some prefer the old. would be nice to maybe have both to choose between like we can with the new and old decorating  :D

Thank you for this! I am glad the avatars and furniture wont change too much. I did not like the style at all, so its a relief to me. I hope as you transfer to html5, you will have an easier time being able to tweak features.
Also, I think my mouth urinals are a broken asset, so i better enjoy them while I can!!

This actually looks kind of promising, especially you giving us a date for the process to be complete and to look forward to, for how aproximate it may be it's still a positive sign imo.

I'm relieved to know you dropped Unity, knowing it a little bit, it's never seem fit for yo, to me. I don't mind you outsourced the conversion to html5 as long as it goes well, I think it's a smart move.

Hoping all goes well and I agree with those who wish for improvements in the ui and map, things that can give the game a fresh look without it losing it's soul!

Thank you for the update

I think going from Unity to HTML5 was a downgrade.
