I guess they reverted back to trying to convert the game to HTML5 again because they concluded that it was not only much easier, but also much cheaper (outsourcing price included for both engines.) As I wrote before, converting to Unity is very expensive, it necessitates the developer to get a Unity license which is in the thousands of US dollars. That much money could be used to pay the HTML5 conversion company and no license will be needed.
