With that out of the way..............you guys need to start thinking about putting teasers out there YOURSELVES. On FB. Where everyone can see what might be coming. I'm betting you guys get happy when 20% of players participate in a theme - spend more than $10 on theme items. Hype is probably one of THE most important things that businesses can generate around new releases. This game is on SOCIAL MEDIA where hype is almost free. I don't understand the logic around hiding what you are doing until the day it comes out. It is counter productive.
Tease the anticipation
Set the expectation
Deliver or exceed the expectation
This is Marketing 101. Are you worried about delivering the expectation? Cannibalizing current themes? I don't understand the lack of a coordinated push to get players interested in something that is coming? Why do movies start showing up in radio and tv ads a month or 2 before they come out? Buzz buzz buzz......Do you think Disney worries that they've already got 2 movies out that the upcoming movies might steal ticket revenue from? Hell no. They market market market......
I'm just trying to help here. I hope I made a teeny bit of sense.

This is what I'm trying to convince them to do. After week 1 of the current theme, they simply need to do something mysterious on FB and show a few solid items from the upcoming theme to get players talking about what is next. Build the buzz and have people thinking about playing Yo. I don't get why they don't? Maybe if the marketing group didn't spend all day trying to schedule out the next 50 gambling events, they'd have some time for it?
