I'm on android, since the new update the jewel game doesn't seem to run quite as smoothly, it feels slow and is a little unresponsive at times

I'm on iOS and I feel the same way.

android here and same. I believe they know its slow. They are trying to fix it

It's slow and the backgrounds are unnecessary. It WAS a great little game. Not anymore.

Super slow for me also (android). Tried to be patient but finally gave up I know it will get better but as usual, I want it now. lol.

I agree. My mother had the same complaints about the backgrounds

My bf thinks the background is cool
It is laggy but i know itll improve soon

Once I got through the first new jewells level it seemed to play a little faster.

I loved the match three. I had done all the levels, but I played it all the time anyway. Now, in order to get to the lower level games, I have to scroll backwards. I liked how you could find the game you wanted to try again in a small grid. On the Slot machine portion there is a 'location' icon in the lower left corner, that pops up a world map so you can go to any of the slot games easily without scrolling around. What I"m suggesting is that the jewel game should be the same way, or at least have that option available.

I'm one of the older folks, and some stuff on me isn't working as well as when I was 'Zoe v1.0'. But I'm like 'Zoe v10.08.007", and the fingers and eyes don't work so great anymore. Tapping is easy enough, but the scrolling is really hard to do with my arthritic fingers.

And the beige-ish background of the board is really annoying to me And then it's on top of a super distracting beach scene. Perhaps younger people might be cool with this stuff - but it's difficult for me with my old eyes, to see the jewels against the background. They're like the same color value or something and I can't really distinguish the jewels from the sandy background. Either the jewels need to be darker, or the background, but they can't both be an equally light value-- there needs to be some contrast.

Would there be a way to add an option to remove the beach scene for those of us who would rather it wasn't there? (But leave it for the ones who like it.) And maybe also, turn on a dark game-board background, leaving the jewels the way they are?

And it laaaaaags...

I'm playing on a Samsung Galaxy S3 Android KitKat v.4.4.2 using wifi, not the data connection. (My data would be used up in two days if I used it.)

I'm sure y'all developers put a LOT of work into this (I'm a UI designer, have developed a few simple android apps, and do some UX studies on the side -- so I do know it's a lot of work, and I appreciate it... but I play yo in my downtime, and today I'm aggravated.)

So have any of you got past that dreaded level 25? I understand as you level up it will get harder but this is ridiculous. I've cleared all the gems a couple times only to run out of moves before getting enough points. Grrrrrrrr soooooooo frustrating!!!!!

Yes it's possible. You need to swap diamonds with other glowing jewels. I have only got one star on it though... Once you pass it the other levels seem easier.

Same! It works ok, but it freezes time to time. It seems to have happened when that " tropical island " background came about. Or whatever beach background it is.

its slow also..

its start to lag during the play but most of the time it freezes for a bit.

Level 25 was awful! The new levels are much better and more fun, even though they look difficult.

dont like the background from the map, could have been better if have optional settings to choose any background from the map at the user's choice,

I have been stuck on level 24 of the jewel games for a couple of weeks!! I have gotten down to 1 square stuck in a corner! Soooo frustrating. Is there a secret code or something ?LOL I am too old for this.

The best I can suggest is that you look for the best glowing gem swaps. They will clear nearly everything. And I always looked to match the edges and the corners on every move. Good luck

I DID IT!!!!Now I can get stuck in 25 for a while (after I rest up)
