I am on tier one of level 38 and there are three gold bars with locks on them. What is the goal needed to unlock and capture those three gold bars? I can't figure out the sequence. lol

you need some combination of striped jewels (4 in line) under it to break the chains but if you are able to get the bomb and striped at the same tome works faster
i only once was able to get a rainbow and striped and about 4 times one of the gold bars never dropped

I finally got passed it a couple of days ago. It was dumb luck. I did it over and over until I was ready to scream & then it suddenly happened on the very last one. Shocked the h*ll out of me! The only thing I can say is keep trying to get those 4-in-a-row. If they explode at the right time & place, it will happen.

That makes sense. Basically you break it using one of the little striped row/column or explosives and it should break!
