There are a lot of threads on here about them. Here is one:

viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5599

They were released Friday when first batch of unreleased items where released, and removed on Tuesday when second batch of unreleased items where released. Half way down on the first page of the thread above Gary talks about what happened and that if there is demand for them or they get price jacked they will put them back in store.

the initial panic is over. currently there are 122 pairs in auction house and on 10 pairs have bid, only 3 of those having more than 1 bid. most bids being well under 100k. so the people claiming to have sold for seriously high amounts were either lucky or making it up in hopes of raising prices.

All we need now is for someone or some people to buy out all the pants below 1mil and start to corner the market on these items, with a starting price of 1mil.

With the way the yoconomy works, as soon as a BVG made item leaves the store it becomes subject to the existing yoconomy, which is unsustainable in its current form with the crazy prices.

If you think about it, 1mil is very cheap for an accidental short term released item.

It's a bit of a shame that BVG right off has done this. They could have put them right back in store right when they found out about it since they did remove the pets right when they found out about it. I was the first one too put a thread up concerning them and Gary reponded pretty much right off but obviously he had no idea what was going to happen because he said if they get jacked well that is an obvious conclusion of what will happen.
