I didn't get banned but got a warning and told to change my event name. I believe it was something along the lines of "WTB YoCash for...". I think the filters could use an upgrade and a downgrade on the strictness. It's getting a bit ridiculous, I find the filters a bit ridiculous. Who hasn't heard a curse word or two in their day. I have no problem simply blocking that person if they get annoyed. Would never report them unless they were using any derogatory language. Bring back the adult/kids server or allow these kids to toughen up. The real world isn't *yaddad* for yoy. If I'm spending real money on a game I should be entitled to at least free of speech. Or at least follow Pandora's suit and alllow us to turn a profanity filter on/off and choose when we want to be berated by "naughty" speech. I'm all in for a "Say/Do whatever you want filter". Just my opinion (Rant for the day).Agree to disagree?

Hmmm, lets see! I think event filters need to be strictly controlled due to the complete idiocy of some people in game who get a kick out of posting events that are beyond vile.
As for the game chat, I think certain words should be filtered for various reasons. The main reason being.....there are so many people that make threads here all up in arms about some silliness that somebody at Altons called them a noob and how upset and offended and sad they are about it. Imagine the whining if they were called some really choice names by an unknown person at Altons. LOL.
This forum would become a cry fest.

As for your warning, if you feel you were unfairly treated, send a ticket to support and let them know about it.The filters are still being worked on and your warning was probably an accident.

I see where you are coming from. The events do need to be somewhat filtered because I too have seen more than a few "risque" and quite appalling titles in the events section. But in my apartment/home(s) on a day to day basis I would like the option to turn off the filters so my friends and I can chat freely. As far as the ones outside Alton's complaining they better get used to being called *insert whatever word(s) was used here* because unlike BVG, the real world will never yadda things out for you.
