So I have been looking for an item for MONTHS now. I have a thread over in the TRADING section that I have been bumping for a couple days. ( viewtopic.php?f=4&t=7824 ) I have been searching the AH and have had 0 luck with finding the item. I have hosted countless events looking for the item. Now, all a sudden, it is listed in the AH for 10 MIL!! WTF man. Like REALLY? It is NOT an item that is sought after constantly either. Has anyone else been through this? Where they were looking for an item and all a sudden it has been beyond price jacked? Seems really odd....

its not intresting its ANNOYING. half the stuff in AH is pricejacked. i hardly even go there anyore

That happens all the time! Some loon sees a thread and decides to bump the cost of the item! Sry it happened to u! But give it time the price should reduce (hopefully)

There are still some "fair" priced sellers in AH... few I agree but they are there... Hope things will straighten out soon.

As a matter of fact....yup.

A few nights ago I posted a WTB in trading for something......previous to posting I checked the AH......which I had done for days.....coincidentally, right after I post a WTB on the forum and in game the item I was looking for magically appeared in AH for an amount like 6x's more than the high guides prices......I don't ever expect to pay guide prices for things :lol:

If they had just come and told me their price or posted on my thread, I would have paid their asking price. Instead I just ignored their item in AH.......maybe it was a coincidence, but I don't think so....... :lol:

Some like to manipulate and play head games.....I am not into playing along.....

Also, you would think they WOULD comment on the thread with a price rather than put the item in AH cause they LOSE coins this way due to the percentage taken!

AND....they put it in there for 6 hours......um, they could have had my coins immediately and saved the space for another item they wanted to sell. Also they would have had the full amount without the 10% coming off......I don't know, maybe it is just me who feels this way but when I feel like someone is being manipulative, no matter how much I want an item, I won't reward their ugly behavior....LOL

In the end, 2 very nice forumers helped me out, and I really appreciated their kindness.

Yes, that has happened to me. I try not to post here buying which items I go after because sometimes people get the wrong idea and charge a lot if they have the item or decide to join you in your quest just to have that item, thinking that it's going to be hot. I guess that they think "he has tried to get it for 10 days with no luck? I have to have it."

It happens to me all the time. I guess that is why I seldom do WTB threads because I soon see items I'm wanting in AH soon after for ridiculous prices. There are still fair sellers its just sheer luck to find them
