Should YoWorld make their own price guide? Price guides are really helpful to players and they tell you how much items are going for, but the owners of those pages might manipulate prices for their own gain (I have no proof of this this is just a theory). Running an official guide will also bring ad revenue to YoWorld, which they probably need right now. I'd love to hear your opinion about this. Thank you!
Who would set the standards though? If BVG makes one, it would be no more impartial than a player made one. And being a guide, there would still be many people that wouldn't follow it. I don't see any solution to the price guide problem, frankly.
I don't think it's necessary. I do look at guides to get an idea of what items are going for but then I set my own price. And I'm one that never says make offer. And I won't offer on someone else's item.
I don't think another price guide is the solution. Some people are confused to what the purpose of the price guide is. Too many people think that price guides are there to tell you the price people SHOULD buy at or sell at and think it is the standard that everyone should follow. If BVG creates a price guide, to many people it would be the RULE that people have to sell and buy at those prices.
