I believe locking the door ends the event

Click the name on hour house and end event.

click the event name under your room level and click end event

It wont work for me. it just has my house name where it usually had the event name.

You have to try and make a new event and get the pop up saying you can only have 1 event at a time, hit ok. then lock your door, then unlock and remake...
