You can pipe in live dance radio on-line music at the Altons and also have other places in Yo that play live on-line radio stations.

Also, it would super cool if we could watch music videos on YouBTube in our Yo homes.

You sell us new radios that have live on-line music on them......it would be hit to have live music playing at Auctions. I know
it be a supreme seller for BVG. :D

not sure that they could ever get the rights to do that.. but if something like that was possible.. how about

being in your home, and thru a music player you can play whatever music you have on your computer... I thought of this before they even had music players in yo... would be nice to sit around with friends and play real music that all can hear ... take requests.. could open up new things in yo.. ppl would have niteclubs, discos.. would be fun, but like I said, don't know that they could get the rights to do that

This is how it works:

1. At the Altons....they can use 181 Energy 98 on-line music. The dance station would be the perfect music
for the Altons....it get everybody out in the game.

2. The radio can have these options: You can buy a radio with one station or with 4 stations. One station
radio could have country only. 2 station radios has Rock and Pop. 3rd radio has 3 options to pick that would
be country/rock/pop. 4th radio would have 4 options of country/rock/pop/retro.

The more options, the more expensive. I would love it. I have experienced in other games and it is a major hit.

Also, in all public areas they have current dance music playing 24/7.

How about you make a playlist of the music you want to listen to on YouTube, then mute the Altons music, and play the playlist? It's hassle free.

I would keep the radio music off. I listen to music anyways lol.

However if we could get a playlist music player for our homes that we add our own chosen songs to. now THAT I would be all for.

The good news is that I personally know it work.

I play other virtual games and these on-line radio stations are in the biz for exactly this and it lightens the mood of the players like you wouldn't believe.

The difference is that your friends cannot hear the music in ur home from ur real life radio...this enables
everyone at ur event to hear current music while y'all hang out together.

For the homes, it works this way: You buy a radio from the music store. That radio play live music, the
music can be country or rock or pop or retro....depends on the radio you buy, but you will have live music, no
more cd's. Only current live radio...kind of like Sirius Radio.

Then in the public areas, you have live dance music, or any type of current music. 181 Energy 98 does
on line radio.

It's being done on other games and I love it....I know we'd all love that feature. :)

well firstly it would probably cause the game to be even slower than it is now. Also, the legal side of it could go crazy and could cause the game to be shut down, the price would have to be in the hundreds of yocash for one to have and they wouldn't be able to sell any because it would be so high and they couldn't do it for free. To be honest, I would rather just have the live radio open in a new tab or just have spotify open... I don't ever even listen to music in the map or from anyone's music player, the music just seems a bit repetitive and annoying.

You would also have to consider what music you would have, there are many different styles and artists out there, it would be very hard to get something for everyone, for example, I only really like Rock music and a few songs that are classed as 'pop', but some people only like metal or classical, etc, two very different styles of music, and to get songs that are; A) Still popular to that style of music; and B) that suit everyone's taste and style, it would be very hard and very costly for BVG to even consider something like this.

Sorry for making it look like I am really negative, just saying my opinion.

There is always the option of making your own online radio station and sharing the link with friends. Copyright laws are very strict with regard to music streaming in games and as was already stated here......can create legal hassles as well as a great amount of expense. With only 5% of the players contributing financially to the game I doubt this would be a feasible idea... The major labels and music publishers are all over this. Just not worth it from a business stand point,

I play 2 other games and NO lag what so ever.

One game has the radio that you buy....it is not expensive and you have the option of buying different
stations....meaning you can have pop and rock and retro all on one radio. You place the radio in ur
room and then you click on it and pick what style music you feel like hearing. It works great and again,
it is not even close to 100 yocash....more like this: one is coin...the other are cash and none are more than
25 cash.

Also, in the 2nd game I play, they have 181 Energy 98 in it. One public area has current dance music: example
would be" "Nah Nah" or C"Duke Dumont's I Got You".....the public rooms are packed.

And if you don't want music....don't buy a radio and in public places you can mute it.

I swear that it is a very big hit and adds a ton of energy to the game. Nothing negative about it...

And, when you host and Auction, it would be a neat to be able to play live music at that auction.

If you're not familiar with on line radio, I can see where it is confusing...but it truly is legal and no lag...I know cause
I use it.

To elaborate and expand on this idea how about;

You would have to have the Song you wanted in FILE form, and music players could have a new function, functioning as a playlist. You upload the song from your computer, to the playlist on yo and you can automatically play any of the songs you have on your last at any given time (ONLY IN APT).. To go even further, there should be a feature allowing us to save our tracks on a special sort of IN-GAME CD, allowing us to share our playlist with other people. OR you can take that idea about sharing with others, but remove the CD part, have another tab at the top where "Support, account" etc.. are saying "Playlists" and out comes an entire list of songs made my others..

So say there's a list and at the top you see "Shakura, Gaga, Kesha.." You click on this play list and out comes all of the songs this specific individual has put on it hersel for hiself. NOW to take this even further we should be able to see who the playlist was created by and there should be categories. I.e

Techno
Dubstep
Chillstep
Country
Pop
Rap

Now say if you have a playlist under rap and you click on it, out comes this guys playlist that he has shared with nothing but rap. There can also be an "Other" option, where EVERYTHING and ANYTHING can be shared here. :)

Just some imagination at it's finest working time..

You're almost right....

It is just live music.....and Alton would have let's say "Dance" music playing 24/7. The live on-line station plays
the latest stuff and we don't pick it.

Then at your YoWorld home, you click on ur yo radio and you see these options: "pop" or "country" or "retro" or "rock"...etc

It's is very simple......On-line radio is piped into Yo and we get to select which genre from our radios...

Public places, such Alton, Nightclub, beach would have upbeat dance music playing instead of the Ice Cream truck/elevator music that we have now.

No loading you're fav list onto the radio, u just have the option to pick the genre you and your Yo guest feel like
listening to.

Well what if, perhaps, You can go through specific geners and pick out your favorite songs, and adding them to a playlist (Similar to how spotify works, but you can also search through names) It would would make things easier on people not having to go back and forth every time they felt the need to use the player :)

I am familiar with online radio....I have my own station :) But when a company provides music in any form in a for profit service ie: gaming....they are subject to strict guidelines and fees no matter the format. Companies like IMVU are constantly in court over such issues.
