The Purge is a movie (franchise now) that takes place in the future. Its about how life is now perfect in the United States, very little crime, little murder, and the unemployment rates are down.

Its because a new holiday was introduced known as the Annual Purge, the purge lasts for 12 hours, during those 12 hours all government services such as 911 are not in service, and crime becomes legal for that night, all crimes, including murder. The latest movie came out just a few days ago, or is coming out.
