Hello I want to connect a house to a random room/avenue - how can I do this please without using those big teleport machines? Any help would be appreciated

The arrows that come with some homes are easy to use and they barely show. I'm dropping off a pair to you now - I hope this solves your problem. Edited to say that they are not giftable. I'm so sorry. I really wanted this to be the solution to your issue.

You can buy a pair of teleport arrows for 1 YC in the Depot. There's the standard one that looks like the ones that are baked into the rooms but lighter and transparent. And there's some colored ones for grass, water, etc. If you don't want to spend YC, you can buy the limo room at the realtor for 10k coins and use the pair that comes free with that. Or you can use pairs you have from the free GE modular rooms (if you do the GEs).

To attach them, go to one room you want to attach somewhere and place one of the arrows wherever you want it. Then go to the room to want to attach that room to and place the matched arrow there. E voila. They will be connected.

You can either buy a limo for about 10,000 coins that comes with a pair of teleport arrows or you can physically take yourself off to the YoDepot to buy a pair for 1YC.

They cannot be bought in editing mode from any of your properties - you have to get on the map and go to YD

For the avenues - you need to go into room edit mode, click on the green plus sign over the arrow where you want to connect a property:



then scroll to find the one you want to attach, select it then click on the Attach button:

The free room that comes with each gem event also has 2 free arrows with it, so look out for those, otherwise, buy the limo from the realtor for 10k which come with two arrows.

You can go to the realtor and get the free modular rooms, they come with the teleport arrows.

I actually needed this reminder just this morning. It's second nature to go into edit mode and immediately think they removed the functionality when you don't link rooms every day.
