Located to the left of the door at Alton's

the Golden Viking when clicked offers a nice surprise and then disappears --

seems to reset daily?

It is worth the effort :)

when did this start? where was it advertised?

i have one ticket now and no clue how to redeem it for anything or if it is just a hh.
to me this was a big fail for our anniversary, creating something that excluded a huge bunch of us who didn't want to participate by posting in social media. :heartbroken:

[NEWS] YoWorld Anniversary - Earn Golden Crates & Tickets! viewtopic.php?f=2&t=253147
Postby Viking Mike » Wed Apr 09, 2025 4:30 pm

YoWorld turns 17 this year — and we’re celebrating in style from May 8–13! :cake:

Leading up to the big week, you can earn Golden Crates and Golden Tickets by showing off your best rooms and outfits on social media!

:gift: Golden Crates will unlock amazing goodies during Anniversary Week. They also have a chance to contain. . . Golden Tickets!
 Golden Tickets enter you into a raffle on May 13 — where one lucky player will win a ONE-OF-A-KIND prize, never to be released again! There are 17 epic prizes in total that will be raffled off!

I got this -- it's ok

hold on to the ticket - you can buy more for coins in the Yard Or with some of the offers in store

on the 13th - they will live stream the drawing for 17 different things

that some have seen a list of, odd isnt - how some know but others dont?

--- so that explains the ticket .... its a entry into the raffle, I wouldnt remove it until after the drawing

-----

Then this, I dont know - I fell over him giving items away yesterday -- I cant find the post, but in a reply I think it was Andrew that stated - yes, we have a scavenger hunt .... I'm assuming this is what he was referring too and stated their were more surprises on deck for this week.

No talk of how long we can expect the golden vik to grace the yard, but he gave me 10k this morning ;) so he is my new fav feature LOL

It would be nice to have some sort of communication from staff - given the rules are clear about not taking advantage of glitches

The social media participation got us one free pull from the "Golden Crates" they are also selling. I didn't get anything fabulous, but maybe some did.

If we completed all 4, we also got a free golden ticket. Not really that big of deal since I learned from the forums you can buy golden tickets outside of Alton's for coins. There will be people who have piles of coins buying piles of golden tickets. Not much chance for the rest of us.

True -- in fact, I sold a handful of tickets because I was sure there was no way I would be able to amass enough to compete. -- I thought however at first, they were limiting the tickets and that would given more players a equal footing in the raffle

Thank you so much Jade - appreciate the heads up! ... I'm with Loie on this, in that there ARE MANY who don't participate on social media...
