I have seen a particular individual doing multiple thank you threads, which is all fine and dandy. Just don't understand how one person gets gifted so much expensive stuff while another yo, gets zip. So how does one person get gifted over and over - and with each gift, there is an update to the image on his/her signature. Its more like a HIT list than a wishlist. ONE DOWN, next!
I laugh at the I would die for - well I never want to give anything to anyone that they would die for. Who wants to kill anyone? Seems such an absurd statement lol.. If you gift something to a yo, that they would die for, are you attempting murder lol?
I am pretty sure I know exactly who you are talking about.

Having said, I have noticed an interesting trend lately in Discussions. What I am about to say may not go over well with some, but it is my opinion, so here it is. Personally speaking, I would rather see someone who has a long wishlist of 08 and rare items, posted in the wishlist forum, than this awful trend of the indirect begging that is taking place in discussions lately. Let me explain. We all are looking for items at times, and yes it can be frustrating to find them. There is a huge difference in posting about your frustrations (some call it "just venting") about not finding something, and posting how distraught you are that this item just don't exsist anywhere in Yo! Example:
I wish it was easier to find the things I need to complete my room!
I wish I could find the Pixie Lionel hat in blue that I have been looking for the last 2 hours.
You know why I hate these posts? Because when you make them, you are manipulating others into feeling sorry for you and that is just wrong. People think we don't realize what they are doing. Guess what, we do. Many see it and the quickest way to never get gifted is when people catch on. So enjoy getting gifted now, but people will catch on to your manipulation. So post away all you want in wishlist forum, but when you bring your sob stories to discussions, don't be hurt if you get called out.

I wish we could call them out, but that would only get us into trouble in the forums. Or your words get twisted and turned into something ya didn't say and next thing ya know, there's a thread up somewhere calling you a b****head for saying something you never said at all lol.. I'm talking from experience here.. I'm not bitter or anything lol.
