Thank you Viking John.

The question now is whether BVG plans to release more unreleased items. Any word on that?

Also, what are the plans for the VIP closure? There are a lot of VIP items out there and I have no clue what all is on the list nor do I have yoville.com to remember what's what. I was looking through inventory and found my hearts umbrellas, flapper bags, and cloche hats, but feel lost. Any word on whether the VIP items will return for purchasing?

This is how it reads to me as well. Though this is exactly what I thought Gary conveyed in his YoRehab interview also.

Miss Ade - You care about this game and BVG and it shows in your posts. You even care about mind set of the people who play, and that is no small load to carry. Some days I wish an intelligence test was required to play Yo, but we get what we get. There is great joy in the differences we all share. BVG wants to run Yo, make the majority of us happy, and make a little money. Count on these facts to drive the things that do or don't happen in our game.

So we can start debating costumes that are post 09 then. As for all other valuable items, well that's subjective to the players perspective unless we now have to use the price guides to determine an items value. Yorehab especially has totally reliable price agents in their midst.

I really don't care as long as there will be no re-releases. And I have my own thoughts on the short time releases. Just as others do. Oh well everyone have a great day.

i kept out of this game 2 years, i never had a re-release and i was one of those players that wanted to move on to BVG themes. i was/am so tired of zynga. i can understand why re-releases were added back to the stores players wanted re-releases and then there are players who want all the older themes added. sooner or later we have to move on to better things BVG has for us. i can wait even if it takes months for new themes. improvements to the game are better now compared to zynga.

This is how it reads to me as well. Though this is exactly what I thought Gary conveyed in his YoRehab interview also.

This makes it sound like people that live in the world that exists outside America must wait up all night so that they can buy stuff that is in store for a few seconds or minutes, as if they are not prepared to conform to American time zones at the expense of their sleep, then they should not be taken into account.

Rereleases were put back in game by Zynga so they could make major money from players before they shut it down. I don't see that is what is going on with BVG, I see BVG trying to repair earlier damage of not good control of the game by former owners.

I think this depends on the definition of "collectible". Zynga didn't release items that THEY categorized as collectibles...placed in the collectibles tab in the stores.
