sounds like this privatizing request may be a personal thing... I think the 'blocking' feature will hide you from whoever.. and i think (not sure) but when you block someone, they cannot read your posts.. don't know for sure.. has someone blocked me?? can they read my posts??? lol

You may have been blocked...but not by me...you know I love ya-lol And this private thing...I just don't get it. Non sense in my opinion. What's the purpose? If something you say needs to be hidden then it doesn't need to be said.

^^This exactly! I tend to share important posts about the game to my group and to those who do not or cannot access the forums, or for those who simply do not care to indulge themselves here on the forums. In no way should these forums be set to private because you would be cutting off a mass of non-forum players. Believe me, not every Yo player actually cares to sign up here. And that is their right. The fact that the OP wishes her privacy to remain just that is perfectly understandable, but not at the cost of limiting an entire fan base. The OP could just choose not to post here on the forums.

I honestly see no reason why they should not remain the way they are. *shrugs* as long as I am able to get in and out, I don't care either way. :)

It seems obvious this is for personal reasons. It makes no sense at all to have to log in to read. People have stated above that sometimes they want to just read and not discuss. Why shouldn't they be able to? If they are doing so, it's highly unlikely they are lurking to read about who you do or don't get along with, OP. It's equally unlikely that anyone cares how much you spend or your badge. Sometimes people read just for updates. Smh. I think you are placing much more importance on yourself than anyone else here is.

well said. Also, wouldn't having the forum be more private be detrimental when it comes to supporting the game? Interesting! This is where news and current topics get posted, like any site, that is information that should be easily accessible, whether you have intentions to post or not! ;) Well said Lisa.

It would be detrimental, yes. The point of those badges is to motivate people to buy. And potential new players as well as new players wouldn't have access to any info. Some people come here strictly for news and info, and not to read drama.

Why should they who chose to stay out have the right to read?

Smitten, I don't know if that is true or not.

BVG feel free to give this poster her very own private forum!!I won't mind at all!! ;)
