I've known many players who were taken advantage of and found out the hard way they were scammed by a wishlister. Some of these players QUIT playing Yo because their feelings were hurt so badly. These were friends of mine. So yeah, I give a HUGE rat's bottom end about this issue. If you are a wishlister you are no better than a scammer in my book. If you are honestly wishlisting, I'm sorry. You are helping dishonest people be more effective. It is begging at the bare minimum. Have I gotten all the candy out of this pinata yet?

I just got bored and visited someone who had a shopping list of items they wanted,no surprise their apartment was completely empty and their inbox was full of messages selling items they had in their wishlist

This kind of stuff might be why.

Because more often than not, the wishlist is full of people who thrive on taking advantage of others kindness. I do agree that those who enable in order to be known as generous Yo's or for whatever reason are probably just as much to blame. But its why the culture of entitled begging is so pervasive in this game
