BVG, do you consider designing animated clothing items?

I hear a few people say this. The thing is, they only design for 2D. They don't design the costumes how they would look if you're bouncing on a bouncy, or sitting down, or getting sucked into the Fly Trap, etc. All these points have to have a design and rendered on a 3D model. If any of the designers can also code for that, then I hope they contact BVG. It would be wonderful to see them hire a tried and true YoWo.

Once you convert an image to a flash object (Normally with Vectors) It's relatively simple to animate. It does require time to do though :) I do not code because it takes a lot of time and if I coded I would not be able to spend as much time drawing :)
The in game animations are not with out errors either...Boots pop back in to the z depth and sometimes other stuff glitches. The clothes that are in game sometimes appear covering the wrong thing. My guess is that masks would help but may add to much data.
Anyway pretty much anything a person draws could be used in game. Just the scale of avatars is such that details merge into a Pixelated Blur.

EDIT: I see no 3d Avatars in Yoworld :p

You're right it's not 3D, was doing my best to explain in layman's terms and sometimes I do that badly LOL. Basically even if you draw it from front and back, there's a whole set of instructions that go with that and the z index drives me bonkers on CSS, I could not imagine what it's like on a moveable platform. I think because it is a small scale op as compared to previous owners, that the artist would have to be an all-in-one and be able to code it up also. Zynga had one artist and then the coders would take her work and make it happen.

I wonder if they'd consider letting some of the great artists here do a whole theme in exchange for items AND personal portfolio recognition. If I was just starting out, I'd jump on that chance for my folio to have a working app.

Oh, that would be nice too! I forgot about him (and i've been collecting snowmen since '97, shame on me  )

The items are really pretty though! I want to buy more hair but i'm still deciding on the colour(s) i want. I said this in another thread, but thank you to the designer for including green snowflake earrings! They're my favourite colour, and were a nice surprise after seeing the other colours included in this theme! :O)

Thanks for the new stuff BVG. The hairs are significantly better this time around than the previous release, so I look forward to seeing you continue to practice improving each release! I was wondering where the shoes were for the dresses? I notice a pattern of random items being released, but no complete looks. While I love the individual creativity given, I still enjoy seeing completed looks for reference and more options. I look forward to seeing entire themes released, rather than mini releases with few things to work with.

Also, while I completely understood the novel written regarding prices of items in regards to seeing higher priced coins/cash items, I still don't see how difficult it is to change a color of an item and then proceed to charge 4 yocash more for said color. I love buying things in every color to add more variety to different outfits in my inventory and am willing to spend the money for the yocash needed, but I would like to see some consistency with like items.

Just my feedback :)
