This is unacceptable! Not ok! You are taking away our very sentimental artwork and memories. Paintboards are a beloved part of this game that enhance it. They are the backdrop for parties, help people buy and sell things, and serve as room decor. You will lose the small number of players you have left and people will quit paying into this game.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! My pet tour is NOTHING without paint boards! I feel like live been punched in the gut while already getting taken advantage of, BVG. There’s got to be another way. Put some time and effort into it!

I don’t know what’s been going on, but I feel like you all aren’t paying much attention anymore. There seems to be little effort and just cash grab. There would’ve been a time I heard somebody say something like that, and laughed at them and shook my head. I would’ve thought they were just whining little babies that weren’t willing to pay for a game that they wanted to play. But I’m really beginning to feel that way —please don’t do this. We need a massive win bad. :wailing:

This is so ridiculous.. Really! So everyone else is punished because some people wanted to be pigs and post inappropriate content on their paint boards???!! This is so unacceptable, and just plain wrong!!!! Ya'll couldn't have sat down and came up with a solution, instead of going crazy and deleting everyone's hard-work. Not all of us are artists; however, I still have bought many paint boards in the game and took time to put them all together and now what a wasted that was. SMH Most of us pay money into this game (me being one of them), and this is the thanks we get??!!! Paint boards were one of the best features Yoworld had to offer. I can't even get my brass frames to work now either. I'm not sure if it's just me or ya'll did away with those too. Compensation, meaning what exactly? I doubt it'll be enough to make us all get over you erasing our innocent stuff over others bad choices. I said what I said.. Years I've played this game, and this is the worst thing that's happened!!!! :grr

It really sounds like you guys made a hasty decision and not the right one. Do any of you actually play? If you did you would know NOT TO DO THAT. Why couldn't you give us good reporting tools and ban the offenders? Too much work? Great. I usually roll my eyes at all the complaining that happens around here but this time they are right. This will be a bridge too far for many.

I read in Disc*rd someone saying lawsuit, just repeating what I read. Not sure how true that is but would make some sense. To many young kids in this game with adult content. We could just keep guessing but that isn't going to help with anything. I just wish they gave us all time so as to possibly take screen shots some of the work we wanted to keep. I feel bad for players like Mr C4rlosS and his wonderful rooms he made, and I'm sure many more players that have taken pride in designing.

Brass Frames and Whiteboards been around for how many years with this issue too? Hell, just pull it all at this point. I didn't lose near as much as some of my friends but, this is truly disheartening.

EDIT: To all the Yo peeps on here complaining about pulling their VIP membership, go right on ahead and do it as that's your right. BVG has made it clear about the rules, not how about they go enforcing them. If you wanna pull their funding and force their hands to pull the plug next, be my guest as we'd lose more than just art...

I can’t believe you guys just did this, and with no forewarning too… plus you want us players to come up with a solution when you BVG should have considered other alternatives first before implementing this action - only then you would have realised that there is no possible compensation for this

I am heavily against this, I have not seen anyone misusing boards - I myself have used PB’s to buy furniture in trading events and I have many decorators on my buddy list who painstakingly use a lot of PB’s to decorate their beautiful, creative homes

How could you guys do this on a whim without even fully considering the impact this would have on the yo community? You guys couldn’t even let players keep their existing boards.

why can't people in violation be punished and not all? did yall make budget cuts in the banning department?

Not to mention if it's a permanent deal, then I expect to be reimbursed for EVERY paint board in my current inventory. It's only fair.

Find a better way to get rid of the bad apples on the game that ruin things for the rest of us...

Don't punish all of us for the few who abused paint boards. We paid a lot of yocash for the art on these boards and it is unfair for you to take them away from the ones who used them correctly. I quit a couple of years ago and you are not making me want to stay around. Most of us with art boards feel the same. Get it together. Don't punish all of us because of a few bad apples. Take away the bad ones, not all of them. I'm furious.

My friend visits haven't worked right for years and you have yet to correct that problem. I'm not the only one with the problem either. Photos doesn't work. How about fixing the game instead of making punishments for those of us who have done nothing wrong.

No the threads all got merged into this one. Normally they let there be 50 threads on the same topic but not this time.

A heads up would have been really nice!. We could have been informed of the TOS regarding the paintboards. I always made my own images, why are mine wiped out, too? This is so unfair! Please tell me, what in this room of boards did I do wrong? If I had known, I wouldn't have done it.
