I love going to the auctions and hosting them! But you are so right. We need a little bit of time to load in, before you start shouting at us to move from the door. Esp. if the room is full. If I'm hosting, I say hello, give them a few to load in. If they are standing there for a bit, then I will ask to come on in and have a seat. Not get away from the door! :P

this has happened to me a few times, i guess they mean no harm but they kick people out to prevent unnecessary lag, i dont believe they are trying to offend.

I have to agree. I go to auctions and have to wait at the door for everything to finish loading otherwise i may end up sitting on someone and getting everyone's knickers in a twist for sitting on them! hahahahah Give us a FEW moments to get into the room and get loaded before expecting us to move away please!

I never kick people at the doors, doesn't really cause lag for me & if they come to my auction they wanted to come to mine, I should be a good host and respect their choices

By this time I had clicked the chair again so it initialized
"add" and by the time I read everything when the lag caught up
I was sent to Altons.

I realize what it looked like... it looked like I was just going
into the room and randomly adding people.

But seriously, give people at least 10 seconds to get in the room
before shouting MOVE AWAY FROM THE DOOR!

We KNOW we are going to an auction. We are coming to
either spend money or sell something you might want. Screaming
at us does not help our computers load any faster...

I'm sorry but I have to laugh.
This frequently happens to me too.

I never Host/hosted auctions.. Its a TREMENDOUS job.. believe me.. sometimes I have been kicked out by my own members (lmao).. they mean no harm..

You see there is a HUGE HUGE room of people and theres like tons of people who stand at the door causing lag to everyone.. so they have to kick to u know control the crowd..

However .. most of the time its purely unintentional.. every host wants the people to enjoy.. its just that some are bad managers.. while others are pretty good and u never get kicked out lol

I hardy go to auctions but when I go to other events like a pageant with a few friends the owners kick me out if I don't have a certain costume for one of the themes.

Hello guys...
I host as well, and I know how much lag is an issue. I don't kick people from the doors until they've been there for more than 15 seconds. My family (WiiLD) would never kick a person on ungrounded merits. Please believe me when I say that. Lag is the cause of a lot of things that accidentally happen on yo. So sorry that you got kicked. It happens. But don't judge on one kick when the hosts and people inside of the auction are friendly. We cant see what is happening on your end.. just on ours. So move on and when the hour is up, come back respectfully. If you happen to see me posted, or any of the WiiLD fam, come on by. We're sweet folk. ;)

As someone who hosts, I can say that if you are kicked at the door, chances are you have at least been asked twice to move in. If you cant see the seats or the ppl, click a spot on the floor to at least move inside. Thats your best chance of making it in when you are lagging. And as my sister MJ stated, we are good peeps at WiiLD, sometimes things happen...don't hold it against the whole group. Hope to see you at one of our events!

When I still went to events I would enter the room and start clicking the far right of the floor or an empty chair and by the time my room caught up and loaded I was seated while other Yo's who entered with me were still waiting at the door.

SkyracerJamie (103175992) wrote:Do you ever stop and think that maybe one of the reasons why people are not moving from the door is because of the lag and/or waiting for the room to finish loading (like where people have stopped popping up in seats so you can sit)????? I was kicked from an auction hosted by a WilLd member or however you put it in name BECAUSE THE ROOM WAS STILL LOADING AS I EXPLAINED ABOVE FOR ME!!!

Rant over
