As was I. If you read what I said, I stopped paying into it 3 months before they announced the closure because at that point it was no longer worth continuing to pay into it.

You're entitled to your opinion. I just believe that we weren't "paying customers" of BVG for the VIP...so they don't have an obligation to us for it.

You couldn't even buy items out of the VIP towards the end when Zynga still ran it. I had a friend try to get me a few things and the store no longer worked. It was out of commission before it was even transferred to BVG.

So in other words you gave up on the game before it ended? and if they did come back you wouldn't get them anyways so really shouldn't matter to you right?

I never gave up on the game. I still clocked in every day, visited in game with my friends, hung out at Alton's and continued buying and selling on trading pages, I even purchased yocash when they put the Christmas items into the store. Don't presume to know and judge me simply because I quit buying into the VIP program 3 months before they announced the game was closing :/

To me BVG seems like the kind of company that will give us plenty of warning before removing items. I know a few things have poofed during the clean-up of the mess this game had become. But I think when BVG has everything up and running smoothly, timers or announcements would be part of the norm.

I agree 100% with this. Timers should be put on every item before it leaves the store but I honestly don't think BVG was transfered the VIP stuff. If they had been it would most likely still be in the store with all of the other themes that safely made the transfer. Thanks to the VIP program not making it over I now have a ton of 08 Christmas items that I can no longer place out of my inventory. Any items that used to show up under the VIP tab on our old profiles no longer work. I can see them in my inventory but they don't show up in edit room.

Never know when new stuff is out in store never see a posting for it unless I come here. I really try to stay away from here because it seems like when I post something I have 20 people mad at me because I asked a question. I love the game but it seems like some people just post to see the number of post go up. I don't come here to start fights and I have been playing this game since when it was in beta stage and had aol severs. There was even police and fire stations on the map. How many people remember this? Just because I stick to my self and don't like to hang out with the groups I get attacked is not cool. I don't need a army behind me to post the way I feel and if it is wrong I am sorry. If this isn't something you like just skip over it I do your post and would respect it if you did me the same way. No one should get bullied around for asking a question.

Understand this and I seen it too but thee items was not gone and you could still buy until BVG took over. The day they did the items was gone and some of these items are still in store even like Russian circus new years and a few others. Just not sure why they took them from game without warning is all. Would have thought they would at least leave the items in game that go with them themes. I guess no one else even cares but I just wanted to complete my theme or there is no sense in buying it. If they wanted to level out the playing field they could have done it with out making the former supporters pay for it again after they have already paid for over a year for it. Once again they took over the whole game not just part of it. even if I had to pay for it still I would but why take something away from us that we had already purchased?

After March 20th no one had access to the VIP store as that was the last date of 6 weeks free after a Jan 9th payment. Anyone who did have access must have fallen into a glitch. But I lost my access and don't know any other VIP's who retained theirs.
If you were VIP that long you had plenty of time to buy stuff up and all VIP were aware of the extra free weeks after the closing announcement.
I see in your original post you're complaining about VIP things being 10m now.. are you perhaps mad that you didn't buy a cloche hat when you had the opportunity and now don't want to pay the jacked up market rate? Is that what the real issue is?

Dude Zynga did that way before BVG even decided to purchase yoville (now yoworld) so i guess your grievance is with them. U can message BVG though and see what they say!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't all of us VIP members receive an email stating what was happening and how long we had free access based on our level? Why wouldn't anyone who wanted stuff not get it within that time frame?

Not the hat at all in fact is the mime from New Years and would even pay 1m each and only want 2 for decorating my fun theme. In no way do I want to get rich off these items I would just like to see more of them for everyone not just myself. You are talking to someone that took a 180m lose on a pair of white jeans and was happy to see that everyone had a chance to own them. At this point I wouldn't even be mad if they come out as reg items. I just want the chance to buy them because when Z was closing and VIP was closing like you say they did. I was working 7 days a week 12 hrs a day and couldn't get on here to say Hi let alone decorate anything. After all I thought the game was closing and couldn't understand why after I had supported them for so many years all the hackers could ruin the game. Why is it that seems like the paying costumers always get the short end of the stick in this game. They are been what got most this far and without us this game couldn't go on as most of you are seeing now. Why not make it so we get the vip items back if we are paying to play now. Why make is so the former paying players suffer ? You say it is greed to want them back in store when I am saying it is greed to not want them back in store. I don't want what everyone else wants but I do and will get what I want in this game no matter the cost because I am willing to pay for it if I want it. Point is i'm not out for myself in is game or in real life I love to see everyone doing good and try to help everyone I meet in this game.

Ok, I get where you're coming from. VIP stuff is kind of considered "exclusive" and to put it all out there for everyone at this point wouldn't be fair to those who payed for the perks and exclusivity of VIP and it's items. I personally have nothing against rereleases but with the VIP I'm a little more hesitant for those reasons.
You could post a WTB in trading, if you haven't done so already, for the stuff you're looking for and what price you're willing to pay. There's a lot of nice people around here that may have what your'e looking for.... GL.

Exactly this! Correct me if I'm wrong... but once your monthly VIP membership expired... those items/stores were no longer available to you. Didn't matter if you had been VIP for a year! It was a month to month deal, yes?

Thanks and really hope you understand me here but if not that's your choice but I bet after this post you will see this thing sky rocket to over 1m each for sure. Then maybe you will realize what I am trying to say.
