Well that's good IMO, 70% of new players are beggers. :?

Imagine how the forums will be.... :ugeek: :geek:

I think most beggars are alt accounts or banned accounts. I don't think new players are beggars. Just dishonest people. Lying about being new.

That isn't something i would brag about personally... Yocash is purchased with real money, coins can be required via the game... so basically your saying you are begging for someone to give you money. money they have earned for free? Think i would rather you 'beg' for coins than yc

Better yet, neither.

1: People beg for coins/yocash whether they are new or not.. happens alot with old and new players.
2: New players would be able to scam how exactly, if they are new they will have no coins/items to scam with.
3: Visiting your friends is good.
4: They must go? No they don't have to, they could ask a friend to max them out.
5: Again they must go? No they don't and how can they go to a pageant if they are new? They won't have enough clothes to change the amount of times required so they will have no chance of winning.
6: Playing games is good.
7: Going to the factory is good, also adding new neighbors is good advice, more neighbors = bigger payout at the factory!
8: Are the jobs still working? Not used this feature in quite some time.
9: They cannot open gifts as gifts are not working.
10: Again they are new, they won't have any items to sell.
11: Not many have a parent/friend/cousin/aunt/uncle to buy yc for them...

I think out of all these points, you have 3 worth doing... plus not many new players come to these forums... i would happily help out a new player if i knew they were legit but thats hard to figure out nowadays...

is harder for new players to get help playing rock/papers and scissors. most players forget how it was when they started. i use to see players helping out one another all the time at the towers when i started. i know see comments its annoying. it only takes less than a minute to max them out.

Here's how to get a YC item

1) Follow your steps for making coins
2) Save up these coins
3) Use said coins to purchase the YC item of your choice via events, AH or pay a YC dealer
4) Congrats, you now have a YC item that you have bought yourself

Simples ;)

My version...

Dear new players (noob is so insulting)...

Here are some suggestions to make coins...
1. Don't say "I need coins and/or yocash help me", and don't make events "I need money help".Such actions are likely to have the opposite effect.
2. Don't contemplate scamming a person. Players will get wise to you.
3. Visit your 9 friends each day and get 30c each from them..,
4. Try the maxing event which lets you win 200c.
5. Try entering pageants to win money.
6. Play games like tic-tac-toe or Rock Paper Scissors. (Win= 10c, tie= 5c, lose= 0 coins).
7. Go to the factory everyday
8. Do jobs everyday
9. Open any gifts that you receive from your friends
10. Attempt to sell your items for a good price.

I do NOT beg for YoCash because I have got morals...

Oh dear. Not a very friendly nor welcoming term.

As a new player who lurks on this forum as well as other sites, you make some rather rash assumptions. Such as events you see that you take exception to are created by newer players. I am also less inclined to think a newer player is scamming as opposed to an older player using alt accounts. Scamming takes game knowledge that new players lack.

I do agree that like most games on Facebook, to earn in-game currency and go up levels requires you actually play the game. Which is what I do, with the help of useful tips I find here and elsewhere. btw, you forgot to mention photo loops? A rather neat way to earn coin and level up when you're new. Only problem is, I'm still learning, so I often mess up on those loops. :D

Myself i'm okay with the word Noob/Noobs - its hardly a nasty word. In most cases it just means new player. In every game that has multi player capablities on the WW-web. Time I think to stop being so precious, its a term used everywhere else, it was never intended to be offensive and to me it isn't. It depends on the sentence it is used in.
This is my friend, he's a noob, lets show him the ropes..
VS
Omg Noob alert - he's got no clue.

New players, Newbs, Noobs - I can see how it came about. Yeah I think i'm okay with the word. I can think of words way more insulting to call people, that no one bats an eye lid at. Like some of the names i've seen people naming themselves in the forum..

*cringe* Well, the good news is that BVG is devising a new method to earn coins and perhaps you can sell some of ur things so u don't have to beg.

As with most things, context is everything. As used in the context of OPs post, while not offensive (too harsh a term that I did not use), I found it most unwelcome and unfriendly. I felt painted with a broad brush so to speak and not in a good way.
