I like making outdoor rooms. Trees, clouds, I like the sittable rocks but any stools or even deck chairs from the depot work fine. Grass and maybe a fountain? Check out my apt to see some outdoor rooms, the kitchen and both bedrooms.

When designing a good party room, I do the seating layout first. I test each questionable seat like the ones at the top or sides to make sure ppl can see your chat bubble. Music is a must! Great parties have great music. Finally add details and a few distractions for bored ppl. Interactives are a nice option.

Put your chair up on a dais in the middle of the room taking up as much space as possible. Then place every item you own worth over a million in the room around you. Next take chairs and place them around the edges of the room behind things that have to be clicked on so no one can actually sit. Then stand back and enjoy the party! :lol:
