When we asked for unvaulting, we meant full themes being unvaulted and in the STORE for whatever length of time and not in a pricy YC pack available for 2 days. I don't understand why you can't unvault the full themes and put them in the store for the months of the holidays and for whatever length of time for non-holiday themes. The cash grabs are getting so old.

Count me in as one of the 'WE' collective too. In complete agreement!

If we needed any more proof that we're now being run by greedy insensitive control freaks, there should be little doubt now.
I've been taking a LOT of game breaks recently, because I just can't take any of this anymore in this game I used to love to log hours spending to decorate and create every day.........
So far popping my head back in has not proven very satisfying. Everytime I do I just get pissed off at how different and foreign this game now is....so drastically far away from how I ever played it. And none of it is better IMO.

Today I came in to make an outfit for the movie Wicked that I'll be seeing this weekend.. BUT, I could not get my outfit manager to work....outfit components are not loading, I keep having to refresh...finally getting pieces to show, now it won't save.
This game just gets more and more expensive to play....it's over the top ridiculous today. And what value do we get for our money. It does not even look like the money we spend is being used to maintain this game.........

I'm about to give up and go on an extended break, because I hate so much about the game today, it's not even any fun to log in.
If the game is gone when I next log in, I won't even shed a tear.
This is NOT the same game we loved so much we had to save it from sunsetting.
It's barely recognizable, and super non sustainable. I hope the red warning lights are going off at headquarters, because this game needs some serious attention, fixing, and redirection.
Very sad for our once tight knit community.....very sad indeed

100% all of this. They keep pushing us to our limits and every push is a nail in the coffin for this game. Every so often they do something that looks like a glimmer of hope/progress, but then they undo it with so many other things. One step forward, 10 steps back. Sigh. I'm running out of energy to even complain anymore.

:bye: sorry got to disagree on the EVERYTHING statement ...
some items need to not be re released because of their values.
im getting tired of people thinking they should just waltz in and buy things at store prices after others spend thousands or millions for high sought after items.

BVG screwed some of us over at halloween pulling the schit with the CD2018 unvaulting. that vampiress hair and the hh holy bible and a few of he other items including furniture stuff like the torture bed.. these things were worth alot and BVG released them back out , destroying the value of them :bye: :bye: so no i dont agree to EVERYTHING sorry no

its bad enough we have so little left in game of any value. BVG has given away , or put at 50 % off. or thru the items in gem events , or crack boxes sooooo many times they have destroyed the value of anything in game now.

i know some players only care about decorating and just buy what they want for self use , but some of us enjoy the thrill of the hunt on finding the valued items, and also like to resell to survive in this game.

I just cried reading this …. Im so very sorry. There was a time I understood and felt similarly - that if I made the effort why should I have to lose value ——

then it sort of hit me; there are NO stats, the values themselves are fictional — I put almost everything in the ah; starting at 1 coin. Why? - because the true value of these items are what people will pay without being strong armed and pressured ……… I want everyone to have fun, the buyer and the seller both win that way.

So, with that sort of thinking - what difference does it actually make? - BVG sold the items at an increase game value. Correct? And while I might have been open to other choices - this was the one we were given. I’m sorry that it wasnt offered in a way that protected the perceived values. I had much of it; but had to buy all of it to obtain the few things I had skipped on before. I would have gladly spent cash on vaulted coin items (as long as it’s a fair and reasonable ) …. I imagine however it waters all the market on those items down….reducing the values greatly. But I would like to add what is hurting resale markets isnt this - it is lack of ads for some and the fact that people simply stopped visiting. I talk to people I met doing this often, that have walked away - to never return. The reasons vary; but everyone of them were fixable issues within the game its self. I think that a multi general platform; that is as varied as life its self (that is well managed) would draw all ages; Im however a pain about the fact that older adults chose to stay home and look for activities that dont require reflexes for one LOL :)

I don't think exclusives and such should be back. But I think the store items should be, both the cash and coin items. The vault has always meant they could come back at any time unlike expired themes. They have unvaulted full themes in the past. Now they're shoving them in expensive packs with a limited choice of items. If anyone spends a ton on vaulted items, they are taking a chance.

Now when a new theme comes out I go ahead and buy all the coin items because I never know how long the theme will be around and dont want to miss it before it gets valuted. Like the "50 Shades" theme got yanked with no notice or warning. Why not just have all themes availabe and do away with the vaulting??

Add me to the "WE" list, too, please. I think I did a doubletake when I saw the 70 YC price. Hard pass.

Just another desperate cash grab unfortunately. I have noticed this trend as well and count myself into the "we" group as a person who does not like the way BVG unvaults individual vaulted items exclusively tied to bundle deals.

Agreed. All cash and coin items, and maybe a discount for VIPs lol! I did pick this one up, but only because I missed this theme in the past and had very few items from it. At least this one let you "choose" some of the items. I draw the line at completely random unvaultings such as in crates, etc.

I can completely understand this, but I also understand how incredibly frustrating it is for items to gain value to then have that completely disappear once the whole theme is unvaulted.

I wish they would call a spade a spade and either expire themes or leave everything in store. Just expire some stuff (I.e. non-necessities) and then leave the rest of the decor in store for people to enjoy! I’ve never understood why there has to be a blanket for each theme or why there’s always the risk of things coming back.

The game has an economy that forces people to buy coins/cash (which is good for BVG) but then the same economy is often ruined by the vault..
