When I read the OP, the first person I thought of was LISATM cuz for a long time player she takes the time always to post issues in detail without insulting. She has taken the time to type out long posts over issues detailing each and every issue. I always liked that of her and admired her love of the game to actually take the time like she does to post. IF she was interested in such a task to become a council member I would definitely Nominate LisaTM

This game is in the shape it is today because of exactly this blowing up in everybody's faces.....one group of influencers convinced the Vikings in 2014/2015 to change the way this game is played.............they listened, thinking this small special interest group represented the whole community, and let them propose changes to benefit their own way of playing and changed our game sending it on the downward spiral leading us to where we are today.

In a complex social decorating game like this it's important for anyone on this committee to be COMMUNITY MINDED and think about what is best for the game, or we will find ourselves still wallowing in the mess that has been made out of this game.

Please, every yo, think long and hard. And you community minded selfless ones, who want fun for all, please consider stepping up and make a difference. I'd love nothing better than to turn this death spiral we're on around, and return Yo to the amazing game it once was before those Big Changes rolled our in 2015 that brought us here.

Agree with everything you said and I volunteered. I would not expect to be chosen and have no illusions about that but I do feel I could do the job well. I am beholden to no one in here.

Awe! Thank you for the mention! I am VERY flattered by this. It's something I normally would love to take part in, but RL has been dealing me some lemons lately and I don't think I have the energy or focus right now to do the job. My schedule is really wonky too, so Idk if I'd be available when needed. I didn't apply for these reasons. Hopefully, if it ends up being helpful and successful and they are always recruiting, I can apply in the future.

There is a lot of feedback here in the forum, every theme you ask for it.

There was also a big kerfuffle about lack of male clothing items and items for males in general. Designers threatened to hold back any designs until more male items were made. Nothing has changed, still very very little is made for the male players.

There was the kerfuffle and nothing changed. If this City Council recommend more male items (players, both male and female, have been asking but have been ignored) what will be different with an added City Council?

With X amount of players in the game.. how many are actually aware of the City Council idea? No mention of it in the game, only here... maybe on discord, I don't know, I don't go there... A lot, I mean a lot (this place is the extreme vocal minority as said by BVG) a lot of players will not come to the forum. I have tried to get people to participate in contests, and they do not want to come to the forum. They surely do not go on Discord.

How are they represented at all with the City Council?

So we did post it on the forum, discord, Facebook and in-game on Beamer.

The Facebook post currently has over 130k views.


Obviously, not everyone will see everything, but I'm confident to say that the message was widespread enough.
