I'm 100% against rereleasing previously released legit items... as for unreleased and accidental, I say go for it. And speaking as someone who owns a Celtic Cross, I'd be totally ok with them releasing that too, just to confirm I'm not a hypocrite.

There is a lot of controversy over this one. I did at one time believe it was an accidental short time release, now I am dubious, but there is no way to prove it.

In the meantime, you are rocking a Turkey Hat which, even if the price guides to not reflect it, I do believe to be the "real" most valuable hat in Yo. It's legit and it's way harder to find than a Menorah these days.

I played in Christmas 2009 and never once saw anyone say they purchased one on yoville.com or in the game until a while after they were supposedly available. I believe the people who originally said they bought them from the store just made it up to keep their hacked items and people have been told the lie and continue to believe it.

In reality, the hats came from people who scammed Zynga support and people who hacked them.

I know I can't prove it, but I don't believe a single Menorah Hat was ever legitimately bought. I've never been shown a picture or any sort of proof that it was available.

I mean, someone tried to tell us they bought a Hulk Costume (named with numbers) legit in the game as well. :lol:

I'm still waiting for one of those people who claim the Menorah Hat was legitimately released to offer up screen shots of it saying non-refundable in invo and being with the rest of the 09 Christmas items in their trade invo. Years later, still nothing.

Even from people who claimed to have bought it on yo dot com or knew a friend who did.

The hat simply was never released and didn't show up on yo dot com til after Christmas 09 expired.

Yes, I played during that time and never noticed it. I never saw it in the game until i started playing again in 2012. So when did it come into the game (scam from support and such)?

They started showing up not long after Christmas 09 expired.

People wrote to Support saying that the item showed up as expired and would have bought one if given the opportunity. Support, in their infinite wisdom, gave out some.

There were a few hacks to bring more into game. Support was doing fishy stuff at one point in time and more got into game - as well as other items.

The last major dump of Menorahs into game happened in 2012.

Menorah won't be put back, I can say that I'm 100% sure it wont come back, I say this because it has been released already. It was only released for 2 minutes though, so maybe if they release it for 2mins again with no forewarning who knows.

If you went in store to buy it, there was a timer next to the hat, and it counted down from 2 minutes.

Screen shot of a Menorah Hat that has the non-refundable tag. As well as a screen shot of it being with Christmas 09 items please.

I've waited years for someone to provide the above, it's never happened.
