This is pretty insulting to tell you the truth. -_-

Instead, they tried to distinguish this year's theme from previous year's by the former owners or else all would be melded together in inventory. We have already had Fourth of July, White House, Patriotic and Memorial Day themes..all red, white and blue. I am sure they were just trying to come up with a different theme designation.

You have every right to voice your opinion. Nobody else here has a a problem with voicing their opinion, particularly when it's to call you a hater/ingrate/blah blah blah.
If you don't like the items, let BVG know, as you have done so respectfully also I might add. This release was rushed. No HHs, no make up, facial features etc. No furniture theme with it. I understand they do not have yet have a complete team of 3D artists, so, lets wait till they do. I think the majority of us would prefer to see a re-release of some of the not so older themes that were closed in the last year. Everyone still wants them, there is no danger of upsetting anyone with a re-release of valued items and I would certainly be more inclined to buy items that I missed out on because Zynga in their cash grab greed closed out nearly every worthwhile theme, one after the other this time last year.
I'm talking of themes like Wild West. Playhouse, Yorient, Golden Egypt, Ancient Rome, India. Fairytale Fantasy. There is nothing in these themes that is so coveted that it would risk upsetting anyone and many, many players didn't get to finish houses because these themes closed up so quickly, who could possibly have kept up with the madness that Zynga doled out to us this time last year. lol

I have to agree, I'm sure there was no disrespect intended.
And at least our new Canadian owners put out some items for the 4th. Imagine how we Canadians felt when our former American owners ignored us for the first 5 years of Yo's existence.
Kudos again to BVG.

Decorators have had nothing for so long and Zynga did sting them with the removal of just about everything worthwhile to decorate with.
Anyway, just a thought!

I would have no issue with this. There is nothing showing in the store right now (of the expired items) that has significantly appreciated in value such that putting them back would upset the Yo economy. Collectibles of course should remain expired, as well as I think hairs and clothing, because they DO appreciate in value.
