the loading of the inventory, putting items in the AH, and gifting is MUCH way faster and smoother!
BUT..
I show items in AH, that I don't see while dressing, or in my inventory box, or decorating, and vice versa. I also notice, that if I have more than 1 item, it doesn't show that in the AH.

I am concern of losing items, especially valuable ones, that if I lose, I can never get back.

idk if this helps anyone, but I figured out that the AH seems to be only showing old items, that are not labeled "new", if you put on that item that has more than 1, save, and then take off again, the total of items will show in AH. same for single items not showing, if it's a new item, put it on, save, take off and will show in AH.

Hi! I volunteered to be a tester, but was never contacted.

Yesterday, 1/7/24, my inventory acted strangely and avi editor became impossible to use.

Good things

The avi editor came up immediately instead of having to bring it up once before being able to use it. In the regular inventory, the "Available" comes up right away, with the newest first - that seems OK. My trading and gifting came up fast and I didn't get stuck in trade, like I usually do. Yay, that was embarrassing.

Inconvenient Things

Avi editor: if I scrolled down it would pop back up to the top, like someone else was running it. I can't search my outfits at all, it just sits there so I couldn't enter any pageants. I'll stay in the test for now, just let us know next time to expect it.

Inventory: When I searched for a group of items, like "EMC2019", they would come up like normal, but when I sold or removed any of them the search would disappear and I would have to re-type the search even though it was still there in the box. Annoying, but not a deal breaker.

Am I a beta tester? No one else that I talked to has this issue. I volunteered a few weeks ago but I was never told me that I got in, I thought I was too late. Boy, am I sorry now! You could have at least warned me.

If you volunteered, you're testing. They don't contact you to let you know.

As for the outfits, I'm assuming you mean saved outfits and not random wearables in inventory. I have the same problem. The search is broken and I have to scroll to find them. I am having issues with my wearable inventory in edit mode too. It's jumping around a lot. I hadn't tried to use a saved outfit since I started round 2 of testing, so I'm glad you brought this up.

Where can I post an issue with my inventory that I didn't have before the Inventory testing started? I'm not part of the Beta testing.

It seems our questions never get answered in the forum or thru tickets anymore. Do I have to open a Discord acct just to get a timely answer regarding this game now?

I can't find an alcove in my inventory I was using for the GE after getting disconnected and restarting it. I'll try a cache clear and hope it's back in my inventory.

Edit: I cleared cache, tried again, and nowhere to be found. Both on YoWorld.com and Facebook. I looked in my crate in addition to edit mode, and it's gone. I'm thinking maybe you should put the GEs on hold until the inventory overhaul is complete. I'd rather you stopped the GEs altogether, but that's another subject. I'm frustrated with all of this and hope it's sorted soon.

Since we are totally left in the dark with no communication to BV and the other beta testers, I would like to opt out of the test. I've been a beta tester before and usually there is a special way to communicate our experiences directly without making it public.

I'm already tired of the disappearing items and the difficult or impossible searching and new items not appearing. If I had a feeing that things were being worked on, I would hang in there, but without any communication, it's impossible.

Everything works well, but I hate that it's sorted by date now and not name. Makes for a weird navigation experience, especially when looking for clothing.

I have notified BV that I wish to opt out of the beta testing, if I was ever in. I was never contacted or given the email of anyone to whom I can communicate problems. This is the number one issue I have with this testing, there is no communication. There must be a back and forth between testers and the designers or there is no test, it's just torture. The communication can't be done in a public forum, either. We need feedback both ways.

My husband and most of my friends are not having problems, so I know it's only me and one other person that I know. She wasn't contacted, either.

When I win a prize, buy something from the auction house, purchase a promotion or get a gift, the item doesn't come up in the inventory until I refresh.
If I've added a lot of new hairs, the hair tab only shows the hair I'm wearing and if I look at another tab and go back, it shows the other tab's content instead of hairs.
I can't search my saved outfits, so entering a pageant is impossible.
The editor jumps back to the top when doing the outfit gem challenge.
Gem Challenge crashes more often.

This is not ready for the players to test, I would suggest going back to the drawing board.

SO many good points here. I am having various issues including the ones you mentioned. It's making it really hard to play.

And especially on point with the communication! This method of testing is problematic. I did testing for the user interface way back and no one could sign up. They hand picked us and we had daily assignments to do and report on our experience. It was top secret, there was a secret forum section for the testers to report our findings, and we were instructed to not tell anyone outside the testing group what they/we were doing. AND best of all, it was only in testing mode from the test links they gave us that we were trying things out. Normal game play was just fine. It was a much better method and we communicated with the Vikings. Of course, there were a few who couldn't keep quiet and told non-testers everything and that got ugly fast. Maybe that's why they decided to try it this way this time, but they should at least be communicating and if someone wants to opt out, they should be able to!

well i regrat to say this but i so mad right now you have messed my things up i went to buy wall floors for a very wanted project yofans seem to want and then i used my walls floors ne time now i go next room there gone, your all yet to give me one single update on when ur ging fix the bugs, we are messing arrows wall papers everythingm if u cant fix things nor reply to us end me and all frm testing to u can get on the ball i not happy take me out it if yur ging steal things from my inventory i am in middle of using, it has to be a big in depot as i said 20 times betwin here and discord, its on u t work with ur testers, just take me out it i feed up not getting on single answer on nothing, i feeling you not replying because what i saying dont mater. forgive me fir the vent i not a happy camper and i refuse go few this loking for miss spillings!

read 1st line thats the big prob communication i agree i fed up as i stated allready, leasted its not just me seeing this, during html5 testing we had are own area to the bottom of things, that at the time only the ones in testiing seen!

i sorry i am was very upset, but at a lil cost i resulved my prob even if was just a temp way i went regot my same walls floors and used the fast in my room i needed them, and buying them it did say there in my inventory s its indeed a bug u all need get on the ball here please and give us some answers. Anyways love u all yofans thats why this got to me so badly lol

since this test start and i have few problem first my items used to say x 2 or x 3 or whatever the number is now it show as i have single item of each was buy more then one time then for my saved outfit before i can type the name of outfit and will load to me quicker now it does not do that and have to go all over my saved outfit to find and dress then all my old item show only when i load in action house but some cant seem to find on me and all show now from new to old and i am not sure what is happening with my stuff cant even see my old Egyptian rooms or my old Rome or any of this old stuff i have in my inventory and hope don't lose any since i have so many stuff that i collect with all the years i been play in the game so can u please check my account and thanks

As mentioned in the original post, we are fielding all issues through support tickets using the subject 'Inventory Update Report'.

The testing group has been updated.

Anyone who has requested access/removal should see that now.
