Everyone didn't have the opportunity to buy say the black stage in store. So I guess that should be re-released so everyone does have the chance, right? Going by Gary's words that could be construed as the case.

Oh but you tell me everyone still has the chance to buy it now if they had 10m? Well a week ago everyone had the chance to get the Menorah Hat if they had 30m.

What's the real difference?

The Menorah Hat wasn't officially released in the STORES...it was ONLY available on yo.com

According to some people it was, and they still claim it was. ;)

What's an accidental release? Is the Slayer Tank accidental? Is the cat clock? Is the lips urinal? Is the Red Velvet Toilet? Maybe those are just short time releases?

Who's to say? Who's to know? I do say that anything that was a short time/accidental release should plummet to the ground in value...and I even own a couple of Crosses.

lips urinal was removed because some players did not get the freedom of choice to buy or not to buy. they complained to have removed

Wait! I got some more "short time release" examples.

Elite, Super Saturday, Groovy, Fairytale Fantasy.

Should those themes be re-released? They were definitely short time releases.

According to what John said in this thread, they could be fair game.

I think "accidental" is a BAD word...Most unreleased items I believe were created by players and slipped into the game...I could be wrong...Short term releases that were actually in the store for a limited time will not be released because EVERYONE had a chance to get them, even if the chance was brief.

But if you read Gary's response about his pants...they didn't intend to release them again, some how the coding for them got included in the update...so they quickly removed them...I guess that's accidental.

Also some items they may have created but decided against releasing them, but the update included them...so they remove them as soon as they realize the mistake...this could be either short/accidental.

This is why I say quit worrying and just wait and see what comes out next!!

We’re aware that rare items are very valuable to some players, and this way we can maintain the rarity and value of previously-released items while making previously-unreleased items available to more players. I hope this makes sense, and reassures you that we have no plans to devalue older players’ items.

That's not the type of "short term" they mean. They mean something that was out for an hour...as an example.

They also said when they took over the game that they WOULD NOT re-release themes like Zynga did, but may create similar items of their own!!

Your bolded is technically wrong. They used Zynga created content and put it in game. Pets accidentally and all of this unreleased - now - released stuff. ;)

Speaking of the Jaguar, he is now technically accidentally released...maybe he will be back!

ROFL...I think less than a day is what they mean...some items were out for only 2-3 days...but I doubt that is what BVG means my short term!!

Yes the pets were an accident, which is why they removed them right away. But how many people know for sure what was created by Zynga and by BVG...when did BVG sell it to Zynga??

You have to remember it was BVG's first!!!

They represent a religious holiday....therefore they're religious.

LMAO So everyone who celebrates Christmas is religious??

I have no memory of Santa Claus or the Easter bunny being in the bible or any other religious doctrine.

Hmmmm GOOD POINT!!!!

Maybe the 08 costumes were really created by BVG and not Zynga!

That would leave them available for re-release as it was not specified that BVG would not re-release their own previously made content.

Good catch ;)

lol...you have to get it right...Christmas and Easter are religious holidays because of Christ's death and resurection...BUT the bunny, presents, eggs, trees, etc were added by retailers to make money!!!!

On the 3rd day Jesus rose, found a bunny suit and hid eggs from the disciples in the Jerusalem hillside.

Didn't you hear that story?
