I've even tried laying them down as they tell you to do in RL: put the first one in the exact center of the area to be tiled.

I'm like that...all the tiles, grass & hay floors have to align just so. It drives me nuts if they don't.
Same with placing items on either side of the screen. There has to be equal space, top & bottom and side to side...otherwise, it just looks wrong to me.

LOL! I'm the same way as far as my apartment (it's a mess). But I also knit and make jewelry and I'm a bit of a perfectionist where those are concerned.

Same here, I can be a bit OCD in yo - the foundations of a room have to be right! I also do various crafts and will spend ages getting a piece finished so it looks just right but my flat is a mess

yea... that truly sux!! I have tried to getting screenshots as i go along.. just in case that happens.. not always successful tho ...

Omg, the suck when this happens is so loud, the ears pop. o.O

I have left imperfections if the rest of the room came together and the placing was no fault of my own. You know, when there is a flaw in the actual design. Like a weird white line that isn't meant to be a border or something. I always hope something better will be released, then I can go back to it. When this happens, I keep the keys to that room or house tucked away until I feel it's presentable.

me too, I am also surprised how one little item will change the symmetry. Many times I clear room and start over. I have also learned-less is better. Used to just pack my rooms in every corner.

Not at all. Put the tiles anywhere you want......as long as they line up perfectly. I'm not telling you what to do, but if you don't place those tiles just right, well you judged yourself. My hands are tied. I'm sorry. There is a really funny joke about why a man and floor tiles are the same, but if I tell it someone is gonna get butthurt. Let's just say it involves laying things just right and the quality of companionship one receives over time. ;)

I used to do this in the early days. And I will start to do it now, then end up just tossing stuff in cuz it's way too much. Then when I can't move, I clear it and that whole big mess is back in inventory. o.O Wtf is that? lol

If they did not look like this, you couldn't find any of it. Don't tell them that each of these rooms is in different houses and that all your houses have the same items in every room for that house. Shhhhhhh

I spent an hour lining these floor tiles up. Twice. And I still think they are off
