Thank you Autumn Glory, this thread brought a tear to my eye this morning.
Tears that only good memories can conjur up.
Some we have met in this game have left a lasting impression on our hearts.

I've lost two dear Yo-friends over the span of my game play. Both of these accounts luckily have remained intact, as their families recognized Yo's importance to their loved one's life. I leave a message of remembrance in their boxes every now and then.
This game does transcend the pixels on the screen, and some real friendships were made.
These accounts will never be deleted by me, and I'm grateful their families leave them intact.

I also have some VIP's that I connected with but no longer play that I can't bear to delete, even though they have not played in years. There is a special place in my heart for them too......and I visit them also occasionally in case they ever do come back and turn the lights on for a few minutes.

I wish I knew if he was okay. I really hope he is.

I have one other FB friend who passed away and I can not remove her. I still like to visit her old houses. She was a nice person. We shared some laughs and fun on the game and she is missed.

It is true that this is just a game, but the people we meet leave impressions on you. Fortunately, I have met and interacted with mostly good ones. I am grateful for the friends I have made through this game.

You are such a good friend and person, AG  I am so sorry for your loss

I have a good friend who doesn't play anymore. I am shocked to see that he is not on my buddy list anymore when I checked his name earlier on my list. I hope I have not deleted him by mistake  Perhaps he deleted his YoWorld account

It is true that we should treasure our friends when we still can.

It is hard not knowing. I hope you friend is just off living life to the fullest.

I hope your friend Casper is ok and well, and Im so sorry for the loss of your friend, Amber. Its a hard hit when we make friends in this silly game and lose them.

Ive lost six gamer friends who I called my real friends in the past 12yrs. One of my best buddies, Kelly, passed from an incurable cancer. My heart was crushed. We had planned on meeting up when she came back to the states from the UK on a visit. She was THE coolest, laid back, fun and interesting woman. We shared so many laughs..... This thread brought her back to my thoughts so I thank you for that <3

Its crazy how this silly pixelated game can bring people together and create long lasting friendships. Thats mostly the reason why I stick around. :D

I often think about Casper too! He was such an incredibly entertaining person to be around and genuinely one of the nicest guys I've met on here, really cool to see other people remember him too.

Didn't even think about the 2017 hurricane, I'm hoping he's doing well and just online less like myself. Found this message he left that might make you feel some comfort, he was always taking breaks that got longer every time

Thx for sharing Casper's message, Sean. I do hope he has recovered from that hurricane and is rocking life. He was full of good game ideas and a super nice dude.

Oh I miss some of the friends I made in Yo. So many have passed and no longer have their Yo accounts so I can't visit them.
Yo has been more than just a game filled with "imaginary" friends - as my family used to say
Yo has allowed me to make friends and interact with people all over the world. I'm fortunate that so many of my friends are still here after all these years. I'm fortunate that I've met some in real life. I'm fortunate that I met you my sweet Autumn Glory. <3

Sorry to hear about your loss of your friend. I know that’s gotta be rough!!!! Glad there is still memories for you to go look at. For your friend in PR, I hope he’s okay. I know they had it rough for quite a while. Hopefully one of these days, he will get in touch with you, or maybe you could reach out to some mutual FB friends and find out if they know anything. My thoughts are with him. As for the rest, I agree with you 100% AG! This is way more than a game - we are people behind it all. I have met some of my best friends on here, that after 10+ years, I talk to regularly on FaceTime, calls/text, even when I am not on YO. We’ve all been through highs, mids, and lows together, and I wouldn’t trade in their friendship for anything. Our bonds are literally as strong as some of the best friends I still have that I’ve grown up with since a little kid. At the end of the day, we’re all very real people, we just sometimes have distance between us. That distance doesn’t change our character, love, or connection we have for each other. With that said, I lubsss you AG

I miss her dearly, but I know if she could she'd be telling me to cut the crap out and just get on with it, lol. She was that kind of person.

I still visit her houses, sit my Yo down on her couch and hang with her offline Yo, every so often I'll leave her a message, if only to let her know how much her sarcastic, cheeky butt is missed.

I am glad I'm not the only one who does this

I have a number of players that I cannot bring myself to remove...either they have passed away or quit the game. I still miss them. Every so often I will do what you do...visit...sit...remember...pet their virtual dog or cat...leave a msg in their empty inbox.

  Yeah, it's the only way I get to 'visit' her. I think her family removed people they didn't know from her FB so I lost her there. I have no idea how I got to keep her in Yo but I'm not complaining in the slightest. I'm just thankful I have her in game. She was one of a kind in so many ways. And even though it sounds weird, I can sit on her couch in her apartment (I've visited her hundreds of houses and used all her bathrooms...lol....it was a long running joke... but her apartment just feels like home to me as it's where we hung out a lot) and I can almost hear her telling me to quit being a baby, wipe those damn tears and get on with it Mir :haha:
