In fairness, short time releases DO happen and have happened. I can't recall the year, but there was a Xmas release that included a re-release of the legendary Beer Can Tree. I know it, I bought one and I still have it to this day. I refreshed and literally 30 seconds later it was gone. So it's hard to prove these things one way or another.

my question is, can bvg differentiate between unreleased and short time release items.

BVG said they don't plan on rereleasing anything but they might might their own versions of it. These items were NOT officially released, therefore the released them. Not going against their words one bit

09 Christmas. They apparently screwed up and included the Beer Can Tree. Remember that well, that's where my first beer can tree came from.

Difference is, the forums always told the story of what happened. People complained about the tree being re-released on the forums, some people were happy, some people complained they missed it. The Menorah Hat? No one showed up saying they bought it, there were just threads of people complaining they couldn't buy it and wondering why it didn't show up until after the theme was expired.

Yeah, it was released for 2 minutes If you went in store to buy it, there was a timer next to the hat, and it counted down from 2 minutes.

I'd be able to prove the following, but sadly, my account that had menorah was banned like 2 years ago I bought menorah from someone and then an hour or two later, was permanently banned. Maybe because of some cheats idk

Yes, that sounds about right. The most legit peeps I have heard say it showed up on yo dot com but was not purchasable. Thanks.

If you are correct about the Menorah Hat, then you are likely staring at the possibility of an official release. I doubt BVG is going to cower behind the "it's a religious symbol" BS. I think time has proven that this item is pretty benign.

BVG doesn't seem like the type of company that would worry about whether its a religious symbol or not. I think they'll give the players what they want. The reality is that most players don't see it as a religious item. In fact, most of them see the Menorah Hat as a symbol of wealth. Plenty of people would still pay 50 YoCash for it if it were to be released, so I'm betting that BVG will release it.

If it was religions and offends then they would just remove it from the game, but that was not it. Hopefully they could do a better job than what happened with the Lips Urinal.
