The idea has its pros and cons. But we also have to remember, important game information is at times posted here, as well as new updates, I don't see why that should be cut away from the world. The world deserves to know what YoWorld is about, right? Some people like to learn about something, before they do it.

I know, that I for one do my research before I try something new. I sometimes read other forums for background information. And sure, there are other sources, like Wikia, Wikipedia, but some people like to get a small taste before they play, and I think the forums is a nice place to take a look at. There are others that simply don't like to log into the forums, but they lurk, I am sure they have a reason to do so, however I don't know why some people prefer to do that.

what about those VALUED yocash dealers.. you know.. the ones that buy yocash, pay the bills .. what if they want not to be seen on here, yet want to keep in tune with what's going on ??? ...

sounds like this privatizing request may be a personal thing... I think the 'blocking' feature will hide you from whoever.. and i think (not sure) but when you block someone, they cannot read your posts.. don't know for sure.. has someone blocked me?? can they read my posts??? lol

Smitten, I don't know if that is true or not.

Because who else is going to come here except for Yo's and look at the forum? Trust me...people who don't play don't care. I'd rather BVG focus their time on the glitches and upcoming themes. Additionally, I don't want to log in every time I come here. That's annoying. I come here almost every day but don't always post or log in.

Mario, you can not totally hide your badge, but you can change it to just denote "supporter" rather than a particular level. See mine over there on the left.

I really don't get the reason behind this idea. If someone wants to come here to cause trouble, then that is what they will do. If they have to sign in, it doesn't matter. If someone wants to come here to lurk and read and find out what goes on here, then if they have to sign in it might deter them from even bothering. If someone is bothering you and you want to be rid of them, block them. Here and/or in game. I just don't see the point honestly. I never even liked the idea of "hiding" on the other forum by appearing to be offline when you were really on line. Whats with all the secrecy? I don't get it. That's just me though, so whatever Gary decides to do, won't stop me from doing what I do anyway. If I have to sign in, I'll sign in. No big deal to me. People on the other forum went to great lengths to make up email addresses and fake names just to be a pain in the butt for the rest of us. Having someone "sign" in isn't going to stop those kinds of people but it might stop a legit player who is simply trying to get some information.

If any changes were to be made to the forum, I would prefer that the block feature actually be a block feature. It isn't really blocking as it stands now. I have not used it cause there really is no point in blocking people when they still have the option to respond to your posts and private message you as I have seen others say. As far as privacy, it is the internet. Nothing is private if you really think about it. Just my opinion of course.

I think if you are banned from the forum or the game then you shouldnt have access to what we are discussing here

(I would think that if your banned that you would simply walk away - you have been busted and time to move on .... but we all know they just make new accounts)
