Last time I checked you don't actually have the authority to delete a thread or to make new rules for the forum, such as not being allowed to post personal opinions and questions. The way you word things feels condescending and will likely only contribute to more conflict.

I understand what you are saying completely. Having said that, it is also quite possible to belittle others by talking condensendingly to them. I can choose not to call someone a name, but if I speak to them in a way that I am talking down to them, it is just as offensive in my opinion.

Im a mom and lots of times people say I do come off too "momish" and I do not mean to by any means. I just share to make a difference. This world needs people who focus on positive outcomes of situations and don't side with the negative way of dealing with things. Everything we say and do can come off condescending. Even what others have said to me. I am one to take everyone's personal feeling in to consideration and make things right! I also have learned not to take offense or think everything said to me that seems condensending to a personal level. I used to and I can say it was a miserable life. With respect I will state though I am also not one to lower my morals and respect for others to please others that think I am "too solid on them."

I really don't care what anyone has to say to me about me saying this. I'm not kissing up. I really don't even use price guides to begin with, but I do honestly like to read the articles that get posted there. Whatever the mess is about the guides is irrelevant to me, love your articles.
