Morally you cannot decide to take away objects that have been rightfully purchased by players. If you see paint boards that are in violation, you can cancel those. Not just take bought and paid for paint boards that are not in violation with Yo-World rules. Paint boards are not cheap in the beginning when we play. Also, one day they will be collectible items. BVG is straight up destroying this game one bad move after another.
I just lost 7,428 paint boards that I have invested over 100 million coins in getting and using throughout my yocity.
I had over 2,000 of them made into street and information road signs.
And over 30 art studios of art, with another 30 or so homes of storage art and signs.
And 1,000 of signs in use in homes and buildings everywhere.
I paid others to make every last one of them for me.
I had re-placed over 2,000 white boards with paint boards when the paint boards came out.
I spent years building my city adding signs for directions and street signs on every corner and alley. I had signs in front of all my over 700 storage homes with the theme codes on them.
BVG could never composite me for all the years, time and effort I have spent on this game building my awesome city. I feel cheated. Shame they would just do that to us without any warning or anything.
I had a few memorials for friends that have passed over the years that played the game. Those signs are now all gone. Sad. Memories totally wiped away in a second without a second thought. Damn shame.
To be honest, I am not sure I even want to play this game anymore. Why? Just to have some person wipe it all out like they just did.
I'm at complete loss at what to actually do now. Quit maybe?

I have spent years asking for things like street signs we could add names too. Now I have 2,000 streets and such with no names.
I have been asking for a way to place items in a room or a box or something so that other players can come by and click on the item or box or whatever and buy it without having to make a trade to do the sale. Something like a store or a mall. Now we have no way to show our items in events to sell. That is not good at all for sales in the game. This will kill clothes events.

Oh well I am sure BVG will stick to us with some BS plan to composite us for all the money, time and effort invested in paint boards. Not counting the time and cost to replace them if we ever can.

I just can't understand the reasoning behind this decision. I was just learning how to use the paint boards and didn't have what I would call art but wow I was amazed at all the cool creations people have displayed and for them to just click and it's all gone. My heart breaks for all the artists and Yo's who cherished the art created for them. This was a way over the top decision on their part.

This is a very sad day in Yoworld. Many of us had memories which were kept alive through our paint boards. At first, I was feeling very sad. But now I'm also feeling angry. I'm so devastated because my 9/11 Memorial and my Rest in Peace tributes are gone, among hundreds of other boards as well. There are artists out there that spent hours doing beautiful art. All that work was in vain??? Why wasn't someone in charge of keeping track?? I feel this is an unacceptable way of managing this situation. Why must we all pay for the wrongdoings of some? If you noticed something was wrong, then stop those who are breaking the rules. Why not take our opinions into account in this matter? It is our game. We should've been notified ahead of time. Our voices should be heard!! Sadly, it feels like the beginning of the end. How dare you say you will compensate us? How can you compensate me for losing my Memorial or my deceased grandma's picture?

I have had boards I bought from others over the years that I absolutely loved and now they are gone!! I seen someone share this post and decided to sign in and check and sure enough, all my fav art is gone!!!!! I feel this is unfair but what can I do ugh!!

My main room was full of hand-drawn art and designs which my friends had done. They were pretty much all hand-drawn. I presume there is going to be no way to get these back now, even to save the designs on my computer so I can still view them?

Wow! I didn't have a lot of paint boards, but the few I had were beautiful gifts, gone without any warning. This was not the answer.

You distroyed my museum
You stole our paid Paintboards: Paid twice once when you buy it annd second time when we pay the paintboard artist.

The loss is too big to be acceptable.

i spent hundreds of millions on paintboard art! im so amazed that i spent thousands and i mean MANY thousands of american dollars on something you just threw away! i am gonna look up my records over the last 15 YEARS to find out exactly how much i have spent on this game. i want my money back! anger, denial... well im just gonna start going thru my houses and taking down all these blank whiteboards. i paid 35k to 50k per board, i sold thousands of yc to get coins to pay for these services with other players. in each transaction you got a percentage of the yc. when did paintboards come out? all this time and now after years of us investing in the one thing that makes our houses unique and now you in a split second decision destroy all of it? even with the report me feature incredible! first the frames dont work, the rooms wont lock, now you do this, idk whos decision this was but i am stupidly upset.

Ok. Final straw. I've been playing less and less since my dear friend passed. But what kept me going at the moment in my grief was screen capturing his rooms for his parents to see his creativity. He had literally hundreds of boards in countless rooms that are now blank. I'm literally heartbroken at this callous and thoughtless action. No warning. NO COMPENSATION will ever be enough for the loss of these precious memories and the destruction of decorated spaces that can not be memorialized now. This action was cruel and unnecessary and has completely ruined the game forever.

WOW I feel sorry for all you people who sold so many nice pieces of artwork I know I bought a lot and now they are all gone. I had a room filled with HELLO KITTY and now it's all gone, so that whole room is no more. And the cost for all of it, for some reason that part doesn't seem fair either. There was abuse with those boards and I'm sure we all have seen those xxx pictures but wasn't there any other recourse to fixing that problem. Man, this will affect a lot in the game as we know it.
