Im not sure what I think of the pricing yet. I think some of it is incredibly steep, but it IS balanced out by coin choices, so there's that. I'm not really sure that some of this new stuff is of the overall quality (compared to Zynga stuff) I'd pay YC for - yet. Especially the hairs given I have so many and Im picky about what I'll spend my YC on now when it comes to those, but there are a few cute other items, I guess.

I guess regardless of whether I agree with them or not, the proof is in the the fact that lot of people seem to be wearing those 15yc sunglasses that I initially find a bit steep. However looking at them they're not badly designed really.

I am okay on coins right now, but I realize that others and new players really don't have a way to earn coins right now (aside from selling) so I wish that maybe that was considered when creating the prices on the coin items since there are no silver chests and keys....

As far as yocash items......I am not sure how I feel yet.......LOL

the yocash items are very high priced, they need to lower them down to be buyable <--is this how you say it? lol

I'm not caring for the prices even with a couple coin items that used to be YC. I'd rather have the old Yoville pricing to be honest.

There is a solution to this. Buy your own YoCash. :)

The YC rate is set by your fellow players who are willing to fork over real money that you dont seem to be, and trade it for your fake coins. The whole announcing you want to to leave in a hurry so you can quickly profit off them aside, judging to be "too high" when you are not the one putting your money into the game is a bit strange.

haha will to tell you the truth i gave this game over 5,000 so i bought my fair share of yc i been here when 08s were in store so i know how to play this game very well!

This one i'm not really getting either.

Image

Anniversary animated wings - that are actually animated. I can't remember how much they were sold for in game. I know it was something YC though. I dont recall it being hefty though.

Image

New *unreleased* animated gold wings. Look identical to the anniversary ones except for colour and by all reports ...not animated (and probably why they were unreleased?) for 18yc. I get the unreleased (and the gold - cause yoworldians *love* their pixel gold).

But then cupids wings are not animated at all and they went from between 18 to 22yc. So I guess thats why the 18yc price point on unreleased ones?

Ahh gotcha. I guess I buy my own rather than pay the going YC rates.

In my opinion, items are overpriced, especially for newer players. I saved a lot when I was new to buy the trailer house, those cost more! And I think the Yocash ones are overpriced also, 15 YC for shades? I think that's a little ridiculous. And boots for YC too.

All that said, I am still greatful BVG bought the game and I think they are still trying things out, and maybe things will get better as time goes by, I am patient and can wait. :)

I don't think the wings were overpriced, but that's IMHO only bc this is what the average price was for wings. I'm happy they're not animated ..only bc I personally don't like animated wings

I don't ever remember paying 15 yocash for any clothing items unless it was a collectible or animated.

I have to agree. I was surprised when I saw the prices.
Maybe it's just because we are used to lower prices.
I guess I will have to wait and see how the prices are
on other releases.

Yeah only cupid wings though. And the animated magical ones.

Otherwise they've all been around 10 -12yc, lol and I only know this cause i sadly have almost every wing in game - nearly. Call it a collection, lol!

Not really a deal breaker or anything. :) Just pondering their choice of pricing.

I dont mind they're not animated either. I just thought it was odd that normally animated ones were set at a premium price like this. But I suppose the "unreleased" and "gold" tags kinda make them a premium item too. Even if the name is a bit misleading.

I guess it is too early to decide right now for me......I like the tier pricing. I just hope that when there are many things released in a theme most are not yocash items at those prices........time will tell.

I'm glad to see new stuff and I'm just waiting to see some 'must-have' items with my name on it.

Is the pricing a bit weird and a bit wonky? Sure. *But* by that same note it can go the other way too - A coin sofa!!!?? (Sci fi couch is 9k) If that sort of thing sticks around I won't mind.

I guess it's a matter of letting go of the old ways and absorbing the new. I think the new pricing is interesting. Some of it is a bit steep, but it also challenges how badly you want an item if you're willing to pay for it. and in the long run that kind of pay off warrants actually playing the game. So I find it a bit fun, oddly enough to see the prices be a bit of a challenge.

I kinda like the variety of the pricing, both coin and cash. It adds spice, and in the long term it will make certain items desirable for the collectors in the game. I guess it all boils down to how much you must have that certain item. At least there are a lot more coin items to choose from. I know I couldn't resist those boots!

Im pretty sure they make the prices depending on how long it takes them to make the items and how much time and effort they put into each item....
