Was it whiteboards rather than paint boards? the whiteboards work - they are 3K in the Flowers and Gifts shop.

I coloured some of mine. Just clicked on the board colour tab
The sad one is a whiteboard, :haha:

Surely you know, given all the boards you posted. Did you never draw on them and only buy them from artists or are you being sarcastic?

No they were paint boards . I'm guessing maybe whatever the background color it was that's still there because some of mine are invisible too. Thanks for answering me sweetie

All I do is double click on the paint board, click on board colour, choose one and then click ok. It does work  :haha:

Probably a silly suggestion but rather than disable the feature in the entire of the game and punish everyone for the actions of a few, why not simply terminate the offending accounts like you have historically done, and permit the remainder of the YoSociety to carry on without the few acts of a very few of the players ruining it for the rest of those playing upright?
If the TOS was violated the offenders need to be punished and dealt with, you do not need to revamp the entire of the society - just remove the problem parts thereof.
I'm sure it's been considered, so many years of boards - art from our friends now dead which will never be replaced ...
This is an issue which in that regard will remain un-resolveable, but terminating the boards in offence, and removing the accounts doing those boards would seem the appropriate, and much better response that what is currently going on which feels a lot like drama seeking manipulation.

Just a thought.

Going through flash drives I found another screenshot of one of my paint board creations. Many coin run visitors asked about the hippopotamus so I gifted several. Sadly they are all blank, I hope BVG can get this fixed.

Yep you can even draw on them but it wont let you save what you've drawn. So maybe there's still hope. :)

I am a long time player but haven't been on as much, my other life calls. I used to really enjoy the cool things others could do with the white boards. I hope you find a better solution but I fully support your decision to try providing a safer, more inclusive envorinment for all of your players! Thanks for caring enough to try. I love YoWorld so much.

Only solution would eb to implement a review of boards. So you create one, submit it, and hope for approval. Naturally, this takes time, will lead to fights with the Vikings over what is and isn't appropriate, but at least can let some keep theirs.

That is so cool. Sorry it's gone now, too. But did you put an animated gif on the paintboards? I didn't know that was possible...

I think she's showing the difference between her original room and how it looks now with a blank board.

None of my paint boards were animated in the game. I'm just using the animation in the screen shot to show what was lost.

Thank you. Yes, that seems to be the case from her comment above. Like I said, didn't know that was possible and I guess it's not. Well certainly not now...

Not sure if she answered
She made them herself Lisa.

She made and gifted me a Big Star Gate from Star gate SG-1 paint board art

And I've seen a lot of her Doctor who themed boards that she made....characters, Tardis, and all kinds of Geeky Doctor who scenes.....

I am so disappointed that all the beautiful paint boards that I have collected and carefully placed in my decorated rooms have been disabled. You should either compensate us with a nice lump sum of YoCash or coins. I would rather have my paint boards, restored, :'( but since you disabled them, that is the least that you can do. :'(

thanks Loie, so basically the only difference is the border and cost.
