Who said they would be? That remains to be seen. They might be permanent store fixtures.

I think it would be a good idea for BVG to have some permanent store stuff like the older stuff from way back when was.

Of course you do, lol.

Whats the rush, seriously? Didn't we have enough of Zynga rushing us though every single theme?

If there are no timers the value of items won't go up other then whats already expired and that'll be terrible for hoarders

According to Gary, items will remain in stores as long as they are selling well.
No reason to retire something that people like.
Other than special items like the Ninja hairs and collectibles, I don't think we'll be seeing as many rotating themes like we did w/Zynga.
Heck, in the Ask Gary thread above, Gary even made mention that they'd like to reserve the right to re-release stuff once they actually DO pull it.
I'm liking this type of game play. New folks won't have a disadvantage...ever.

I am not hoping timers will be put on regular items, but special items with timers will be good

Seeing how they did the ninja hairs with a subtle little message I guess they do not know how the timers work. :?

No idea. I like timers, though. Not for hoarding, but for the anxious feeling I get when I forget an item is about to expire and I just gotta get it!! I am the queen of last minute shopping. :)

Personally I think it would be strategic to put timers on items like the bubble machine.....some will of course get into the game....but at 39 yocash....not a lot of them will.....and it will at least remain a rare

Put out the Celtic Cross for 100 Yo on a 48 hour timer.....watch the cash register explode....lol

It's more of an adrenaline rush for me when it's a timer not really for hording purposes but it makes me buy the item much quicker vs waiting weeks. If i knew the item would be gone in say 3 days i would buy it then instead of the item staying 2 months and may never get it..
