I believe they explained the average price tab inaccuarately. I think the averages are the past "asking prices" NOT the actual sold prices..I feel this because a few are way to high and I have been paying very close attention to koi ponds as i have started to collect them..the average price it says is 1.5 ish mil and i know this is false because I have bought 95% of the koi ponds in the past week and i have not payed over 1 mil . but i have seen some priced between 2 and 4 mil that did not sell and this is what likely upped the average. if that is the case, it will not stop price jacking at all. it will only help them jack stuff up. This is obviously just my opinion but I believe i am correct.

That would explain a LOT if it was asking price and not the actual buying price... I hope something gets done to fix this :)

I am treating the "average price" like I treat the guide prices.........if I want to buy it for the price listed, I will buy it not matter what the average or guide says. If I have something to sell, I will sell it for what I would be willing to pay for it. ;)

Yeah they need to factor that of average sold price. If it doesn't sell, it shouldn't count. Otherwise you can list it on there and over and affect the average price, even if you never actually sell it.

The bottom line is you will pay almost any price if its something you want....but in all reality....22 mil for Pink Rets?.....lol....I'll wait till they are back down to 12 ;)

Before the YoWorld Community page locked, I read post from several people saying most of the "ridiculous" prices were made up by people who wanted to transfer the money from their alt accounts to their main account. Seems like a probable explanation, seeing as how I highly doubt anyone would pay 2mil for a table in stores at 50coins

Didn't even think of this. Dang people could really price jack this system too with that method. Whoever does that I hope they get caught.

Most of the items in the AH (especially the higher end) don't really sell, and can these items have an average price, when only 1 or 2 are sold? I know when it comes to me, I just don't look at that option at all, because I find it extremely flawed. The idea is great, but there needs to be some form of system implemented where there has to be a minimum number bought, before it figures out an average!

Even the "sold" price can be jacked by those, selling to themselves to transfer coins. It only takes one sale at a 12mil price to mess up an average price of 500k. Unless they have some trick of coding.
