Recently i have encountered these 4 people who have sat there insulting my belief that i am an atheist, i have never in my life been insulted for that, i have always respected people beliefs if they believe in god because i respect their views and beliefs. these 4 people sat there and called me "stupid" "idiotic" and that i was going to "burn in hell" because i didnt believe, they said i would get no where in life and started saying how everyone has to believe in god, how when im in hell i will wish i would have believed and everything else. i have never met people on yoworld like this, i sat there for 15 or more minutes saying how i respect their views and they shout respect mine, and how i wont tolerate people forcing their religion on myself. has anyone had this before? or when you are religious and an atheist has insulted you, everyone concentrated on racism etc, but what about this?

It sucks... but as a fellow heathen.. try living in a house full of religious people like i do. It will make your head spin.

I thought the only thing people did in Yo is devalue all views that are different than their own.

There are fools everywhere. Just refresh and move on. I've seen rude atheists as well. It's a human condition and has little to do with beliefs or lack thereof.

Adam is right it's best to ignore report and block I'm sorry they did that to you I know they wouldn't dare say that face to face in real life because then...you know lol

The only opinion that matters is your own. There are always going to be people that judge no matter what. There are also going to be others who try to peer pressure you into believing something. I been pressured so much into both sides into the religious argument that i do not know what to believe anymore. Its my own fault for letting others get into my mind and controlling my beliefs.

Why and how does one get into a conversation about beliefs in YoWorld. Religion and politics are usually very heated topics when there are opposing views, but not just on YoWorld. I usually do not have those types of conversations with just anyone, especially randoms in YoWorld or over the internet period.

this was my first time talking about this, but these people were saying about how they were muslim and they asked if i was, and i said no i dont have any beliefs, and thats when it started, i wasnt expecting them to react that way..

yea yoworld can be an oven when you introduce politics, religion, ethnicity, or sex.
just ignore them.....

Well, if you go by the bible my entire family is destined for Hell. My Grandmother will be driving the bus and my Mother surviving drinks so maybe I will introduce you some day. Next time that happens, refresh your game and ditch people like that.. no need to put up with that behavior in a game of all places.

I've been to religious debates in game and they have all been positive. Sure, we don't all think the same but that's why we debate. It's fun to see people's point of view and whatnot. I personally don't care which religion you practice or which you don't practice, what matters is what you have to offer. If you're fun to be with I'll hangout with you, simple. Try to ignore people like that since all they do is bring people down.
