Against any statistics I bought 28 hat boxes to find one rare. The 1 to 3 chance seems very unrealisthic to me. Anyway I never learn. Not the first time for me I do not understand why upsetting customers is the right move. Anyway my fault. Maybe

I never buy more than 6. I buy 3 at a time, twice at the most. Historically if I am going to get a rare I will get one in the 6 boxes I buy. THen of course I list all of it for sale. I do get rares fairly often so thats why this is my only strategy.

I should have stopped at 6 boxes but I didn't. But what is strange is 28 to 1. I understand 6 to 1 even 10 to 1 but 28 to one??????

Do you buy one box at a time or multiples? I find that I get rares more often if I buy multiples at a time. And yes, 28 is absurd.

Enough players keep buying crack boxes and/or hitting the Casino that BVG makes their money. This is a deliberate strategy, create FOMO and feed addiction.

I think you are right but not totally. I didn't choose to go to the casino. I bought a 1 to 3 chances in boxes. I make u an example. Yesterday I bought 7 or 8 boxes with the giant soup (furniture) and I got two of the wanted items so the one to 4 chances was respected. 1 on 28 I see something wrong. But right I will not buy boxes for next years till I remember the lesson. To me is not a great strategy. When I get upset I stop playing for months and I do not spend real money too.I am sorry my english is so bad

Because BVG don't care if you are upset or not unless you are spending cash on them. Now that you bought 28 boxes is easy to assume that you are going to spend more money to buy yc bc your are probably low.... that's all they care.

BVG has done nothing wrong apart from trying to get players gambling more but they make these gambling things because it works and get players spending and spending and spending. Been said over the past years always budget yourself and after many boxes give up and buy from AH. Best advice about not getting upset more is by stopping gambling or setting a budget!

In my country this is called misleading advertising. Anyhow I play since 2008 and I know I did wrong. Whta I also know is how I will react and is not improving the game economy

I stopped at 2, decided that it was a hat that while I did love the idea of it — how often would I find the time to dress in traditional Vietnamese in my YO game? - decided that it wasnt worth the additional efforts

Why they are creating these ‘feel horrible’ moments are beyond my level of human understanding ….

I would say declining player numbers might be a wake up call? — right, that maybe this isnt the best possible way to reach our pocket books


I still feel the best possible way to reach our pocket books is to build excitement, vikings should be promoting the themes with events and games - every theme should have a in game treasure hunts for NEW items or a trivia contest — or even a random pick a prize (but they will mess that up with fake rares too I’m sure)

NOTHING should be so exclusive or so expensive that a daily vip player should be missing out on it ….. they spend all this money making things, and they prevent the majority access and wonder why people no longer bother to log in

Their claim of “1/3 chance” is just a lie…..
the chances of getting 0 hits in 27 tries when it’s supposedly 1/3 is a very very low percent. Like odds that should happen 1/50,000 times if my math is correct.
